Dr. Hovenic is absolutely top in her practice. She is thorough and patient, oh so patient!! Dr H explains everything from step one through the end, whatever step that may be. I can’t say enough great things about her. She has done MOHS surgery on my head and was so careful that she did not have to shave the area. I was so happy about that. She just recently treated me for numerous wasp stings after I accidentally opened a container that had a nest in it. Even though I was uncomfortable for about 10 days, Dr. H gave me a topical steroid cream that made the itching tolerable and helped to take the severe swelling away. Great doctor and person! Reno is so so lucky to have her.

Dr. Hovenic performed a Mohs surgery on my forehead this morning. She, and her staff, were friendly, reassuring, and very knowledgeable. She was easy to talk with and explained everything thoroughly. Recommendations for other procedures were also explained and time was taken to answer all my questions. I highly recommend Dr Hovenic.

I have had 4 or 5 mohs surgeries from Dr. Whitney Hovenic and she and her team have been top notch. She is, fast and deft, decisive and thoughtful, youthful but highly experienced and tuned into the latest medical technologies. She is so good with the scalpel and sutures that you won’t need a plastic surgeon for reconstruction on anything but the most radical treatments. For example she did an eyelid mohs excision that a plastic surgeon wanted to schedule for reconstruction but her job was so good I didn’t need him and saved a bunch of money. Dr. Hovenic could hold her own with the best in the country.

Dr Hovenic is one of the only doctors that is Damon. Botox by vile at cost of $550. No one needs this much Botox. Go somewhere else for your Medical Spa needs.

I have had alot of sub-par healthcare in this town but that has changed due to Dr. Hovenic. To put it bluntly she is awesome. She is a credit to her profession and Reno is damn lucky to have her. I can't thank her enough. If u need help don't hesitate go see her you will not regret it.
