The doc himself is solid. But if you want to play phone tag for a month before you get your meds, this is the place to go.

This is from my first visit to the office. From the beginning I had a pleasant interaction with the front office...the gentleman working the desk was very polite and the nurse taking back was so nice! Dr Baumgartner listened to everything I had to say and was very informative on my meds I was taking. I look forward to having him as my primary. It's just makes me so happy to find such a great doctor.

I had to see Dr. Baumgardner because Dr. Zamboni couldn't get me in and I was on a deadline. I needed to have an ADA request form completed for work so we can start the process of finding accommodations to help me with my medical condition. Under the ADA act a medical condition needs to meet one of three definitions to qualify as a disability and be accommodated. I meet two of those definitions. Dr. Baumgardner told me the ADA request form is not for accommodations at work it's for a temporary leave of absences, which is actually FMLA. I told him I had intermittent FMLA which he frowned and said patronizingly, "well I have never heard of that." He told me I was mistaken, that he didn't know what street corner HR employees come in of off, and refused to complete the paperwork for me. I really hope he does some more research into paperwork that needs to be completed by doctors. If you go on the U.S. Department of Labor website you can literally read that the ADA request is for accommodations at work and provides information about intermittent FMLA. Dr. Baumgardner, and remember D stands for diploma, is the reason doctors like Dr. Zamboni are so hard to get into.

Doctor is ok. The office staff is terrible. Called in for a prescription, ten days later I have not heard back from them. 02/24/22

When Dr. Baumgardner was unable to determine a diagnosis for a year and a half long health battle and flagged lab results, he said I don’t know why these lab results are so high, it must be anxiety, and sent my daughter off with an anti-depressant. She has serious heart and thyroid issues going on - as indicated by labs, and he didn’t even refer her to someone who would try to figure it out. These symptoms are not anxiety related. This was also after she received a phone call from his MA to get in to see him as soon as possible to go over lab results. “I don’t know what is going on - here take this anti-depressant”. Absolutely unacceptable!

Yes, It is so difficult to schedule an appt. by phone though. You wait a long time and then you are switched to a phone that is not being answered. It is very hard to wait 30 minutes and then be routed to a phone not being answered. Especially when you are not feeling well.

My boyfriend Brandon had an appointment with him today. His appointment was at 1030 and he didn’t get seen until 1200. The doctor proceeded to ask why he was seeing him at 1200, which my boyfriend proceeded to explain because of your staff literally left me in a room, all he said was well that’s weird usually I’m not so busy we all left early yesterday, no apology, no sorry you had to wait 2 1/2 hours. He didn’t listen about his symptoms and made him feel like he was making it up. He then proceeded to try and give him and ekg which Brandon has had a billion times, and he just kept telling him i don’t know what is wrong with you and kept trying to refer him out.As a new patient you are supposed to establish rapport with your patients and he literally didn’t seem to give a crap. Just on the 2 1/2 hour wait alone do not go.

Dr. Bomgardner is an excellent doctor who took the time to explain my medical condition in detail. In March I weighed 271 my A1C was 11.3 my waist was 42 inches. Dr. Bomgardner took the time and explained what the diabetes was doing to my body (and what I could expect in the future if I continued with my lifestyle). I never had a Doctor explain in such detail my medical condition and the side effects. Dr. Bomgardner challenged me to change my life style. Currently I no longer have to take a daily shot of insulin and my other meds have been cut in half. I currently weigh 176.3 my A1C is 5.2 my waist is 31 inches as of July 19. I try to run five miles a day and have tons of energy. I would like to say thank you to Dr. Bombgardner for saving my life; because I was slowly killing my self with my bad habits! Doctor Bombgardner knuckles to you my friend I owe you my life thanks a gain. I hope this review is helpful to anyone needing a great doctor.

Thank you Dr. Baumgardner for staying after hours and taking me as a walk in so I could get my thyroid meds. I appreciated the fact that you took the time to give me a yearly physical and get me caught up to date on procedures I have been putting off. You took your time and showed concern for my health and I appreciated your caring and compassionate nature. Thank you for your time and the care you showed me.
