Molly Torvinen's Online Review Report Card

She treated me like a child. When I tried to reason with her she became condescending. She needs to learn to work outside the office protocol box, one size does not fit all. She spent more time focusing on my home safety than she did on my medical issues. She might be a great pediatrician! When I decline info from a doctor I should be heard and not disregarded. Listening to a patients needs and concerns are paramount to a successful medical exam, mine was less than successful.

A very condescending and unlistening physician. Thinks inside the box, follows prescribed office protocol. Instead of treating patient medical concerns she focused on home safety issues. She needs to be empowered to working with patients and listen to them rather than treating them like low intelligent feeble cattle.

Very disappointed. She was condescending, would not listen, would not relent on her agenda. A successful doctor will listen, not treat their patients with disregard and infer that they are too uninformed to make their own rational medical decisions. She needs to be empowered and flexible to her individual patients, think outside the box, or maybe just treat children!

Dr. Torvinen is a thorough and competent provider, who really cares about her patients. She continues to go above and beyond to work with my grandma, and spends long periods of time listening to her and thinking critically about all that is going on. She explains her plan of care in language that is easy to understand, and follows up with my grandma frequently to keep an eye on her. I am impressed with her compassion, empathy, and clinical expertise. I would highly recommend her as a provider.

Dr. Torvinen went out of her way to call me after office hours to discuss an MRI. The MRI was from another doctor so she didn't need to call but she went above and beyond. Dr. Torvinen is professional, thoughtful, and competent. Her call made our family more confident with the decisions we are making. I'm not usually a big fan of doctors but she has won me over. She is awesome.

She is very conscientious and was able to diagnose my difficult disease. Got right on treating it. She wants you to get your testing and vaccines but doesn’t push things if you don’t want to do something that she suggests.

Honestly, the coolest Doctor. Fun and easy to talk with. Always answers every question I may have. You can't go wrong with Dr. T.

I have been going to Molly Torvinen for years. Not once has she actually done anything to help me as a doctor. Usually when I would see her; it was me telling her about the work that my specialists had done for me thus, making her job easier. I fully agree with the other negative review in saying that she does not favor eye contact. Her head was buried in the laptop the whole time, everytime. The appointment I had today will be my last with her. I had made an appointment before seeing her today for my husband and my daughter. I will not subject them to her behavior. She was combative, cold, argumentative, impatient, rude, lacked listening skills and, empathy. She seemed very inconvenienced that she had to actually ask questions to a medical complaint and, do her job. If you’re looking for someone who will just refer you out to other people so she doesn’t have to deal with you, then great! She’s the one for you. I have many doctors, nurses, PA’s, CNA’s etc. in my family and, as clients and, none of them agreed that her behavior today was okay. Patients should not have to leave crying! Just an FYI. Bedside manner was awful, communication was awful and, overall the worst experience of my life. Needless to say, I will not be returning.

Do not waste your time here. The office staff and support are riddled with incompetence. Phone calls are not returned, appointments are cancelled without notification, and all sense of urgency and empathy are non-existent.
