List of Arup Bhadra's Reviews
Have had hip pain for years and I was finally diagnosed with osteoarthritis and told I need a new hip. Doctors at Crystal run told me I had to lose over 100 lbs and wait until I’m older. Thanks to Dr. Bhadra I did lose 60 lbs and received a hip replacement. A little over a month after surgery I’m feeling better than I have in a very long time. Him anxx Dec his team are awesome I would highly recommend.
Stay far away from Dr. Arup Bhadra for your own health and safety, and that of family. This man is a nasty, vindictive human being who flagrantly violates patient privacy and confidentiality. When an issue involving my mother's care post-surgery was brought to his attention in confidence, he snapped, "that's not our responsibility!" He then told me over the phone to, quote, "Shut Up! and Stop Talking!" If that weren't bad enough, he then proceeded to badmouth me for calling him IN CONFIDENCE and privately for assistance to persons at the hospital where my mother was in the ICU, breaching the confidentiality of our conversation, and spreading lies that my mother didn't like the people at the hospital, which was totally untrue. He also embarrassed my mother and other family members, smearing us to any hospital personnel who would listen! Doctor-patient confidentiality? This man not only flagrantly violates this core tenet of patient care and the law, he makes up stories to harm any patient who bothers him or ruffles his ego. My elderly mother did nothing to deserve this. She's fighting for her life after a terrible fall. This man should not hold a medical license, as he has zero compassion or regard for patients.
I have had two knee replacement surgeries done by Dr. Bhadra. I am extremely happy with both.
Dr. Bhadra is a gentleman and excellent surgeon! He has done both knees and hip. I NEVER had a problem and I am pain free.
Just a wonderful Surgeon, Doctor and person. Had 2 Knee replacements (one in Nov 2020 and one in Mar 2021) and I am totally a new person. Still work to do at PT (but that's on me!), but I was able to walk my daughter down the aisle in June, and do the father/daughter dance with 0 pain. His entire staff (particularly his PA Daniel) are just great, and his team at Good Sam hospital were awesome. If you are not ready for surgery/replacement, he offers other alternatives and does not force you to do surgery.
Just returned from a visit to Dr. Bhadra and it was perhaps the worst experience I ever had with a doctor. About fifty minutes after our appointment time the doctor came in and spoke with us to ask what the problem was. He then sent us to another room for x-rays. The x-ray technician took us immediately and it only took about five minutes for the x-rays. We were sent back to the original room where we were told the doctor would be in to see us shortly. At that point we had been in the office about an hour and a half. I saw him walk past our door and asked him "where are you going now"? He came back and told my wife and me to leave and walked out. I asked the secretary at the desk where he was and he wasn't going to see us anymore and we should leave. I told her to find him and tell him we wouldn't leave until he gave us the results of the x-rays. Reluctantly, he came back and told us what he saw. STAY FAR AWAY from him. How dare he refuse to give us results because we were complaining

Wonderful! Very Friendly. Answered my questions. Able to go back to walking my 2 1/2 miles 3-5 times per week within 2 weeks of my first appointment. Would highly recommend him!!

Selection Criteria
All the information you see here is based on our analysis of internet reviews across the seven major review platforms most used by consumers during their healthcare provider selection. The platforms we selected are Google, WebMD, Yelp, HealthGrades, Facebook, RateMDs, and Vitals. The analysis algorithm uses the compiled data of average score, recency of reviews, number of reviews, and the sentiment expressed in the written comments. It then assigns weight to each parameter based on the available research on how consumers use reviews in their doctor selection process. This report is designed to help identify the doctors with the best overall review score in an area and does not reflect the doctors' competence.
