hello, the place is super cozy and moreover, the people who care for the patients are super friendly and explain the whole process very well and I went with a lot of fear because I don't like puya but the doctor gave me a lot of confidence and has angel hands thank you and solve my problem

I highly recommend Dr Neal Shuren. He recently performed carpal tunnel surgery on my left hand. The whole experience was comforting and positive from the diagnosis to the surgery. He made it a very easy and simple procedure and turned out exactly as Dr Shuren had described it. I am highly satisfied.Kathy Wynne

Waiting several months for carpal tunnel surgery. Sent home from hospital bed with nothing, at potential surgery day. keeping me months in terrible pain. Perhaps Dr. Shuren is too old for making any more carpal tunnel surgery. AVOID

I am giving one star because I can’t leave a review otherwise. I went to Dr Shuren for osteoarthritis in my hands in the hope he can give me some information or treatment to have a better quality of life. This man looked at my hands for a couple of minutes gave me no coping advise for any kind of treatment. And that was it. I don’t think I was even in his office for a total of five minutes He charged me $583.00 of which my insurance paid $467.00. He has billed me the balance of $116.96 relentlessly every month for over a year I have called and spoke to his billing department and asked if they would accept the insurance payment as paid in full. His office refused. Then Covid hit during the time I was trying to negotiate the bill. I am retired and my husbands company shut down for 8 months but every month that bill kept coming. I saved the money out of our expense money and paid it today. My review is buyer beware. This is a money hungry practice devoid of empathy.

Dr. Shuren did my carpal tunnel surgery and i was symptom free that day. His skills, knowledge, and great bed side manor make him an excellent choice. He always got back to me right away with any questions I had. I never felt rushed in his office. He is a great surgeon!

My husband and I have been Dr. Shuren's patients for over 10 years. He has treated me for painful trigger fingers and arthritis and performed surgery on my hands to correct severe carpal tunnel syndrome. the surgery was performed at the Ramapo Valley Surgery Center where I received excellent care . The surgery was successful and what I anticipated to be a lengthy recovery was less than two weeks. Dr. Shuren is patient and careful to explain every procedure and condition thoroughly. Although Dr. Shuren is primarily a hand surgeon, he performed emergency surgery to repair my husband's broken hip. This procedure was completely successful and my 90 year old husband has recovered full use of his hip.
