Rude Employees in the ER they have no idea where the ER is. pluse I had to park down the Road. I am visiting my mom I don't need Rude

In general, a very good hospital. Just wondering why they leave 80 unmasked visitors on the bridge so I have to walk though an idiot gauntlet trying to leave.

I am currently a resident of this medical facility hopefully for only a short time longer.   The employees except one (ER entrance desk) are very helpful, knowledgeable and I trust them.   The administration I do not trust, I believe from what I've seen they attempt to continue to make things difficult on patients and employees.   It should be forbidden to place sane patients in the same room as clearly identified mentally challenged patients.  We are trying to get better and constantly on guard from their insane ways, (throwing things, nasty words, constantly bothering others and staff)  And  you wonder why you have violent problems, your uncaring policies cause many of them.  I know management doesn't care as evidence of this and so many other horrible decisions that effect patient care, bottom line is what really matters here.  The employees are unhappy the patients are unhappy only management survives with a smile.  Your total care approach fails the test.   Someone having extreme trouble breathing and is faced to force the uncaring nasty attitude defensive insecure mouthy  man at the ER desk just beyond the security desk needs a new job.   No name tag on the abuser or I would  publish it here.   Good thing theirs a barrier between him and the public, how dare you present this jerk to take our information.   Albany Medical center, your management needs new management!   Thanks to all the good EMPLOYEES who do care you make up for management not caring.    I dread being ill in Albany NY.  Decency, respect, and concern is not a core quality value at AMC.

My daughter is currently sitting in the ER. She has been there almost 9 hours and has only been seen by triage and had blood drawn!! She went in with Hyperstimulation symptoms after an egg retrieval. 9 hours and still hasn’t seen a doctor!!! How is this even allowed?

I'm so upset to be writing such a negative review about Albany Med. I went in with chest pain and pain in my left arm. I had tests done right away but then was left for over 5 hours in the waiting room with no answers. I understand they were busy and they're most likely short staffed but so many things were just wrong. The nurses were completely rude to everyone.Changing patients IV's in the waiting room without changing gloves between patients. Blood all over the tray they used to place my IV. Completely unsanitary. Also removing IV'S in the waiting room for those who decided after 5+ hours they wanted to leave. It was disgusting. I called to get results and they won't give them over the phone. So disappointed in their decreased quality of care.

Wish i could give negative stars… went 2 days in a row…both times I waited ATLEAST 10 hours in the waiting room and all they did was take my vitals… place is a joke
