Allmendinger Nikki's Online Review Report Card

Dr. Allmendinger disregarded all of my concerns, did 0 testing, and sent my daughter off to suffer. She cut me off and prescribed adult laxatives, failing to figure out the root cause of her issues. She then decided to suggest cosmetic surgery for my daughter’s perfectly safe and benign birth mark on her arm for no apparent reason.

Dr. Allmendinger has been my Dr. for about 5 years now, as I am aging out of her. I spent years being misdiagnosed by doctors, and due to my particular Illness, I almost died. Without her, I don’t think I’d be here. Even if I would be here, I don’t believe I would have ever found a dr. That is so accommodating to not just my needs, but my fears too. She is certainly the best doctor I have, & probably will, ever have!

Refused to entertain the option of changing my child’s diet or using supplements. Kept my child healthy enough to HOPEFULLY stay out of the hospital, but had little/no desire to help my child be HEALTHY to live a NORMAL life. She called CPS on a friend because she disagreed with Dr Allmendinger. Charges were proven UNFOUNDED.

Dr Allmendinger didnt spend the necessary time to diagnose our child. The tests she used didnt reveil what we knew to be true. 2 years later we retested and confirmed. She should have spent more time and taken our concerns seriously. These conditions lead to life long health conditions when not diagnosed properly. Verry disapointed and upset. Goes to shown you have to advocate and see more than 1 or 2 specialists untill you find the right one. If you think something is off you need persue untill you find someone who is competent and dedicated not just looking to process volume and copays.

We have seen Dr. Nikki twice now, and she has been very kind and listens... we look forward to working with her.

I did not have a good experience at all with this doctor. She misdiagnosed my son and it was a very bad situation. It was a few years ago but I still think about her misdiagnosis regularly. She almost sent my son to a very serious life altering surgery he did not need. I do not recommend her at all. Get a second opinion no matter how confident she is. I got a second opinion at the last minute and she was completely wrong and my son's life would've been changed forever.

After 8 months of my daughter being in pain and being misdiagnosed by other doctors, Dr. Almindinger knew exactly what to do and took great care of her. Because of Dr. Almindinger's great care my daughter said she finally knows what it feel likes to feel normal again!

Daughter was inpatient with diagnosed GI disorder for months. Allmendinger is not knowledgeable and will not do required research to correctly treat patients. Told me "I looked it up on Google" . Gave contraindicated meds then tried to pass her off to psych. Daughter ended up going to Boston Children's. Some other MDs at her office are very competent. Nursing staff at AMC peds overall was great. Really disappointed in the quality of most of the attending and resident pediatricians. Very limited facility overall and Dr. Allmendinger was definitely more of a hindrance than help.

I would recommend DR. Nikki because she is very knowledgeable in regards to the latest information pertaining to gastroenterology topics. She is caring and attentive. My son has had outstanding outcomes with Dr. Allmendinger. WE LOVE HER!!!!

She takes her time with her patients. She listens and explains fully her recommendations. She is quick to return phone calls. She goes above and beyond to help in the care of her patients. When my son needed to see another specialist due to other issues, she is the one that made calls to follow up with the specialist on my behalf. She is wonderful and she cares for her patients and will not abandon them even if the issues are out of her practice.
