List of Andrew Krouner's Reviews
I went for initial visit because of peripheral vision issues. After going through the different tests, he said I needed glasses. I tried to confirm with him the peripheral vision issue but he couldn't be bothered. Seemed like he had to rush out. Got a second opinion and immediately the 2nd Dr sent me for an MRI where I had a large tumor pressing against my optic nerve. Made several attempts to speak with Dr Krouner with no call back. Spoke with an office manager and they said he prescribed a change in prescription for glasses. I don't wear glasses and it was my first visit. Did he have someone else's chart?!?! Terrible experience
I went in for an initial visit due to peripheral vision issues. After going through the tests, Dr Krouner prescribes glasses. I ask specifically about the peripheral issue and he says he doesn't see the issue and rushes to end the visit. I went and got a 2nd opinion and after some tests the Dr sent me for an MRI where they found a large tumor pressing against my optic nerve. After trying to c9ntact Dr Krouner several times, I never received a call back after being presented with my MRI result. I had my insurance contact his office and they said his diagnosis was legit and that he updated my prescription. This was my first visit and I never wore glasses. Not sure if he was reading my chart but the lack of communication tells me they don't care or covering something up.
Dr. Krouner is down to earth, compassionate and on top of that, an excellent doctor.
Very down to earth and friendly. He’s very compassionate and shows genuine concern about not only your eye health, but your overall health. Highly recommend!
Dr. only wants your money. He diagnosed me with a Recurring condition requiring mild steroid. I thought the Dr. trusted me to treat my condition myself according to protocal used before. I lost steroids, Dr. would not prescribe them again, and asked that I see him. He was very short with me, walked me out of room embarrassing me and disclosing my HIPPA info. Wanted me to see him before and after every flare up. I complained to office manager, was dismissed and not refunded. I never went back
Dr. Krouner spent a lot of time with me, answered my questions, explained my health situation and the effect it has on my vision, and set up a treatment plan.
Dr. K is more concerned about quantity of patients seen and not about quality of care. Dr. K did not check prescription which ended up being incorrect and necessitated a second visit, during which he stated I only have 5 -10 minutes and many other patients waiting, so we need to move things along. He did not listen, nor care, about my particular eye issues and was just looking for a quick answer, which did not address the underlying problem/concern.

Selection Criteria
All the information you see here is based on our analysis of internet reviews across the seven major review platforms most used by consumers during their healthcare provider selection. The platforms we selected are Google, WebMD, Yelp, HealthGrades, Facebook, RateMDs, and Vitals. The analysis algorithm uses the compiled data of average score, recency of reviews, number of reviews, and the sentiment expressed in the written comments. It then assigns weight to each parameter based on the available research on how consumers use reviews in their doctor selection process. This report is designed to help identify the doctors with the best overall review score in an area and does not reflect the doctors' competence.
