I give Dr. Applewhite 10 stars, 5 stars for being amongst the best surgeons I have ever dealt with and 5 stars for just being so nice. She is extremely professional in every way. I think I became an expert on Parthyroid surgery after she so carefully and calmly explained everything to me before and after the surgery. She showed true compassion by holding my hand and comforting me.I am so grateful for her care.Sal Shariff

Dr.Applewhite is such an amazing surgeon! She definitely tells it like it is, even if you don't want to hear it. She performed my breast lumpectomy this past April and the procedure was a bit tricky but between she and the breast radiologist, they were able to make my surgery a successful one. I go back to her in a couple weeks to remove my port and I'm looking forward to seeing her again.(somewhat lol!) She's the best!!!

She was great! she slit my throat open then made me write this review and closed up my wound before I could scream for help! but in all honesty the scar is so faint no one believes I ever had surgery and her bedside manner is wonderful, she will help you understand what the procedure entails, why and everything to expect. She operated on my parathyroids pretty early in the morning and I was out noonish since the procedure was quick and smooth. If you ever read this Dr. Applewhite please tell the rest of the staff I appreciated the hospitality.

Dr.Applewhite did my surgery a little over a year ago. She is the best, she truly cares about what she does.. She explains everything and the most caring doctor I had in a long time. My scar you barely can see after My TT... :-)

My experience with Dr. Applewhite was exceptional! From my first visit she explained my condition, procedures and operation requirements in terms and even pictures that I could understand. I made particular note of her attention to detail and how comfortable she made me feel. My surgery was scheduled quickly and performed expertly. Post surgery she explained the outcome of the procedure and called me promptly with the pathology report. A month following surgery you can barely see the scar.
