List of Argoff Charles's Reviews
Wish I’d been referred to Dr Argoff years ago. Very thorough, honest, respectful, and friendly. He explains things in easy to understand ways and took my symptoms seriously and developed a plan to confirm an accurate diagnosis right away. Excellent doctor, knows his stuff and also has great bedside manner.
I have read a lot of bad reviews about Dr. ArGoff and honestly hes wonderful. Has helped me so much. I highly recommend him. He is very pleasant.
This Dr was very rude to my husband (patient with a severe TBI) as well as myself. He doesn’t care about the patient and treats everyone involved poorly. We have seen many Drs since my husbands craniotomy and this was the most upsetting situation we have ever been in! Wont ever be seen by him again.
Suffered 16 years with migraine was referred to Dr. Argoff. He was the first Doctor to associate migraines to cervical spine issues and referred me to the Comprehensive Spine Center. I wish I met him years ago, he's a genius. His actions identified the problem and got me much needed relief. He is extremely knowledgeable, direct and to the point. He's all business. He will advise you what you need to hear, not what you want to hear. If you want to be coddled, go somewhere else. If you want action and direction, see him as soon as you can. Lucky for me, because his actions led to the discovery of a much larger issue. Dr. Argoff may have just saved my life and I cannot downplay that fact. If there were a 10-star rating, I would give it to him.
We found Dr Argoff a very thorough, smart and compassionate neurologist. He helped us come to a proper and accurate diagnosis when a previous neurologist misdiagnose my wife's illness. He is direct, with a sense a humour. Highly recommend!
Was completely rude and had no bedside manner. Asked why I even set up the appointment had no empathy towards the situation I have no idea how he is even still practicing I'm 30 years old and suffering from debilitating pain and have just been given a wild goose chase between him and the er waste of my time I recommend anyone else you could probably get more help from a teledoctor in a different country
I was a patient of Dr argoff many year's ago on long island this March will b 29yrs since my work related accident at the time Dr argoff was young and looked like doogie howser from an 1990s TV show he saved my life at least the part that was salvageable he is brilliant compassionate and when I knew him on the cutting edge as far as treatment and procedures to help patients haa better guality of lifthanks dr charlie hope ur welleve
He’s very rude. Certainly doesn’t care about his patients. Answered my questions with a very rude answer.Asked me why I was there. I told him. I’m not a Neuropathy Doctor. I’m a pain management Doctor. Which he’s medical secretary told me his the only neurologist in the office that treats Neuropathy and knows about it.
Tried and tried again to accept his intelligence over all else. I'm a very patient person but, I'm done. There is absolutely no reason a patient should feel as if they are trapped in a bad marriage with their Doctor and go to an appointment like it's a chess match. I should have walked long ago. Dr. Argoff...you are clearly not as great as you think you are. What a shame your arrogance and ego get in the way.
Waste of my time. Worst experience with any “doctor” I’ve ever had. Very rude man, impatient. Doesn’t listen to a full sentence before cutting you off. He seems like he just hates humans. When in pain, and dealing with medical issues, you shouldn’t be treated with this level of disrespect. If I were more sensitive, I think I would have cried when I walked out.

Selection Criteria
All the information you see here is based on our analysis of internet reviews across the seven major review platforms most used by consumers during their healthcare provider selection. The platforms we selected are Google, WebMD, Yelp, HealthGrades, Facebook, RateMDs, and Vitals. The analysis algorithm uses the compiled data of average score, recency of reviews, number of reviews, and the sentiment expressed in the written comments. It then assigns weight to each parameter based on the available research on how consumers use reviews in their doctor selection process. This report is designed to help identify the doctors with the best overall review score in an area and does not reflect the doctors' competence.
