List of Aruna Sahoo's Reviews
Dr. Sahoo and her assistant, Nicole, were attentive and listened entirely to my issue. I was offered several things to try to ease pain and get to the bottom of my problem. This was a first visit, so we will see what the result is. But, the office environment was very positive, friendly and patient.
Always in a rush when I tried to explain the pain was in more than one area of my back was told that was a different area. Then when an injection didn't work and again stated the large area of my back that was in pain was told that was too big of an area for an injection.. well I guess we are done than. Haven't been back since. Finally found another doctor interested in finding a solution instead of treating someone who has never asked for or received opiods like a med seaker.
I understand that the government pressure has made pain doctors job very difficult. However, if you are a pain specialist and automatically refuse to write narcotic pain medications how is that not being pretty ignorant to your patients needs? I have permanent nerve damage from hernia mesh. I have been a Guinea pig for every medication possible to help nerve pain but none of them work. I'm 33 and had surgery when I was 22. The pain has taken everything from me. I went to Dr Sahoo looking to improve my quality of life but she told me because of my age and her being afraid of the DEA that she would not write scripts for pain medication. I continued to see her for injections and they only helped for hours. What am I supposed to do in the in between? You take an oath to help your patients but if seems that oath is only up until pain medication is involved. Maybe you shouldn't be a pain doctor if you refuse to write pain medication prescriptions
Dr. Aruna was not interested in taking my medical history nor hearing it. She seemed in a rush and was curt with me. Would not answer my questions just shut down anything I-said, and looked annoyed if I attempted to explain how my symptoms were affecting me. It was a waste of my time. The office feels like an assembly line, quick in and out! So disappointing ! Don’t waist your time!!!!
was great experience helped me with my pain without meds
She's awesome. Really cares about her patients. Very compassionate. Good sense of humor. Cares about the entire picture.
Don't waste your time! Spends a few minutes with a new patient, could care about the individual with chronic debilitating pain. No treatment, no suggestions, nothing. "Sorry, can't help you," be on your way, next... Her medical license should be revoked.
Went through it all. Nothing helped, including nerve blocks. After I did everything they wanted, she kicked me to the curb and recommended surgery! We'll we all know that back surgery is a gamble! This office couldn't even fill out the paper work properly so I could get any of the psychiatry meds they prescribed. I got letters back frm the carrier stating they are not filled out properly! I told them how to do it,but they did it their way. Wrong!! DONT GO THERE! She's got a bad attitude
Gone above and beyond to help me solve nerve pain issue for three years. Had one neuro stimulator trial with no help at all. She got me into another one called BURST by St. Jude's with positive results. It has taken a long time with many ups and downs. Dr. Sahoo never gave up hope that we would find something that would work. We did. It was a total team effort. Her staff goes above and beyond. God Bless them for not giving up on helping me.
Absolutely awful and a complete waste of time. Went there for possible pain relief due to CRPS. Was told I didn't have it and tried to dx me with conversion disorder because her under five min evaluation totally figured that all out. /Sarcasm. Luckily I found a top CRPS dr that confirmed my CRPS dx and also dxed me with POTS and is actually trying to treat me instead of calling me crazy and depressed. Stay away from Sahoo.

Selection Criteria
All the information you see here is based on our analysis of internet reviews across the seven major review platforms most used by consumers during their healthcare provider selection. The platforms we selected are Google, WebMD, Yelp, HealthGrades, Facebook, RateMDs, and Vitals. The analysis algorithm uses the compiled data of average score, recency of reviews, number of reviews, and the sentiment expressed in the written comments. It then assigns weight to each parameter based on the available research on how consumers use reviews in their doctor selection process. This report is designed to help identify the doctors with the best overall review score in an area and does not reflect the doctors' competence.
