Patient-centered, listens, kind, caring and knowledgeable. Excellent doctor!

Very attentive and caring doctor. No other doctor I've had calls me personally with test results and treatment plans. Wish I didn't have to see an endocrinologist at all of course, but boy am I glad for Dr. Bakst. My experience with his practice as a whole has been great.

Dr Bakst is informed and informative. He cares about each patient (I know several who all attest to that). He is clinically thorough, yet personable and informative. Most importantly perhaps ...his diagnosis and treatment approaches are right on target and effective. I can’t imagine finding a better physician.

Caring, knowledgeable and excellent doctor

Dr. Bakst has been my primary dr. for over 30 yrs. I can state without qualification or reservation that he is a patient, excellent and attentive dr., and he possesses excellent diagnostic skills and instincts. I am very happy having Dr. Bakst as my physician and feel fortunate for this. He appears to go the extra mile to make sure that any issues are attended to in a conscientious manner that we might not see from other practitioners.

I was recommended to see Dr Bakst by my primary care because of my "whacky" thyroid numbers. My first visit, he listened, and was concerned that the issue might be with my pituitary gland. He took blood and even called me on Saturday to give me the results. When it turned out that my gland was ok and I was just overmedicated, things changed. It was like there was this excitement that I might have a "serious" issue and he was all over it. Now that I am just a "low-maintainance, see you in a year patient" the concern is gone. My last appointment went by so fast my head was spinning. I didn't even try to ask my questions. I am currently searching for another endocrinologist.

My husband and I have been patients of Dr. Gary Bakst for 25 years and we have never found a more professional, knowledgeable, and qualified doctor. We highly recommend Dr. Bakst as we have been so satisfied with the care he has given us over the many years we have been his patients.
