Doctor LIDOCAINE is without question, The worst Doctor in the history of Pain Management !!! Find another Doctor !!!
Find another Dr. !!! $$$$ is ALL APICELLA cares about Wrong medication 💊 on 3 occasions The worst Doctor in the history of Pain Management A real looser - Find another Doctor
Dr. Apicella was excellent in every aspect. Answered questions to my satisfaction, scheduled treatments as I needed, gave RFA that so far has lasted since Oct of 2019! I’m impressed.
Dr A is the most difficult doctor I have ever been to The man has no respect for People And has NO IDEA what Doctors are supposed to do Do NOT go to this particular factory FIND ANOTHER PLACE !!!
Dr Apicella is nothing more than a CLOWN 🤡 The man was in such a rush they almost gave me the wrong medicine and said that it was okay ??? The man is not doing anything that actually works - I’m just a Cash 💰 Cow 🐄 Find another Place !!!
Nope, nope, nope. I would give this place -100 stars if I could. I went to them with orders from a spinal surgeon from my regular practice (who couldn't get me in for pain management injections within a reasonable time period). To make a long story much shorter, the doctor at Albany Center for Pain Management countermanded my doctor's orders and gave me a series of injections that did not contain the indicated pain management medication (steroid). Instead, I was given injections of lidocaine only, which lasted 4 hours instead of 4 months. I was given conflicting reasons for this change. The first being it was a requirement of my insurance company. After checking with my insurance company, there is no such requirement. The other was because I am diabetic and steroids (according to them) are contraindicated with diabetes. Also untrue, especially when locally administered (into a joint, for example). I won't go back to ANY doctor who ignores the orders of the physician of record WITHOUT first notifying the physician and the patient.
COULD NOT DO A THING BACK PAIN WAS SO BAD .AFTER SHOT 100% RELIEF . AM SO GLAD I WENT TO HIM FOR TREATMENT. THANKS TO HIM MY LIFE IS ALMOST BACK TO NORMAL.
If you can't get injections don't bother to go to him. Doesn't care about you and will treat you as a drug addict! He has some nerve calling himself a pain management Dr!
I haven't read whats on these reviews before. I have been an RN for 38yrs and have been treated by Dr.Apicella and Pam for 20 yrs. It's been my experience, that people in real pain don' t complain about how long a Dr. spends with the previous pt. He will also take his time with you! They are so busy because he is excellent in the surgical suite. Those injections that he so perfectly positions are why I worked for so long at a strenuous job.I am forever grateful to him,Pam,Luisa and all his staff.
If you are in pain this is the place to go

Selection Criteria
All the information you see here is based on our analysis of internet reviews across the seven major review platforms most used by consumers during their healthcare provider selection. The platforms we selected are Google, WebMD, Yelp, HealthGrades, Facebook, RateMDs, and Vitals. The analysis algorithm uses the compiled data of average score, recency of reviews, number of reviews, and the sentiment expressed in the written comments. It then assigns weight to each parameter based on the available research on how consumers use reviews in their doctor selection process. This report is designed to help identify the doctors with the best overall review score in an area and does not reflect the doctors' competence.
