Jeffrey Uzzilia's Online Review Report Card

There is simply nobody like him. Kind, attentive, smart, the best of all the attributes you want in a cardiologist. I feel lucky to be his patient.

I am always comfortable with Dr. Uzzilia's demeanor and skills. He is always responsive to my inquiries.

Dr. Uzzilia is calm, empathetic, has a wonderful bedside manner and personally calls you with test results....which no one ever does, If you get a test done he sees you and goes over the results right away. My mother’s cardiologist makes her come back again 2weeks later. He sits and listens to all your questions and tells me to call if I have anymore and not to wait till my next appointment....who does that? I can’t say enough and am so glad he was on my team for my heart surgery

I met Dr. Uzzilia when I went to the Capital Cardiology version of the "ER," which we are fortunate to have here in Albany, NY. I had an A-Fib episode that would not calm down after many hours. He was very patient and answered all of my questions. In my follow-up visits, prior to a non-Cardio surgery, he was very calming, re-assuring. After my Cardio PET scan, he called me personally to discuss results. As a former, nationally competitive figure skater, I am looking forward to getting back to dancing, swimming and maybe even some skating again.

Dr. Uzzilia has been my cardiologist for 10 years and I can't say enough good things about him. Not only is he an excellent physician in his specialty, he is the kindest, caring, person you could meet. He always is up on all your tests etc., never rushes you, explains things in terms you can understand, and has even called me at home in the evening to give me test results and tell me not to worry. One of the best docs I have ever met. I highly recommend him.

Dr. Uzzilia is the perfect example of a caring, excellent doctor. He explains things quite well and gives one the time needed. He is also very empathetic and even called to offer condolences when my mom died. He personally calls promptly with test results and is a wonderful example a competent, knowledgeable, caring doctor. Kudos to him!

Dr. Uzzilia, has a very calm demeanor, and has a wonderful bedside manner,. He takes the time to explain things to you, and answers all your questions. I didn't feel rushed, and he is genuinely concerned, I would recommend recommend him.

Dr. Uzilla is the best and sweetest doctor ever. I originally met him when he was treating my son and I’d go to every appointment. When I became more confident about my son’s health I stopped going to his appointments. One day my son called me to tell me that Dr. Uzilla asked how I was doing and said to say hello. I was amazed! So my point is that besides being an excellent doctor Dr. Uzilla is caring and compassionate. Dr. Uzilla is just priceless!!! Doreen Wheland Albany, NY

Dr. Uzzilia has always been pleasant. However, the staffing and scheduling situation has gotten so bad that we are going to need to find someone else. After setting up an appointment for my mother two months in advance, arranging transport (she lives some distance away and is disabled), and taking the day off work, the day before the appointment I received a robo-call telling me I had already missed the appointment (for the following day...). I called and the first person said not to worry about it, but told me that appointment was an hour and half later than we had scheduled. The second person told me that the Doctor was in a different office that day, so they had rescheduled it automatically without telling me. After two 10 minute sessions on hold for a supervisor, no one could get the story straight and the supervisor never called back. I'm out about $150 and a vacation day, and my mother hasn't gotten any cardiology care.

Dr. Uzzilia is very smart and has excellent bedside manner. Would highly recommend. His office staff and nurses are excellent as well.
