Dr. Goldstock is an amazing orthopedic surgeon who really cares for his patients. Greg his PA is also fantastic. The day after surgery for shoulder replacement they called to check in. Truly amazing care. Thank you!
If It wasn't for Dr. Goldstock, I would be living with a lot of pain. He fixed my left shoulder and my left arm. He relieved me from a nightmare of terrible pain. He is the BEST😊
Truthfully, I found him really arrogant. I was completely taken back by his attitude when he entered the examination room. He was rude, asked me why I was there? When I explained my concerns, he was abrupt with his answers. He never read the questionnaire I had fully filled out prior to coming in that day. He tried to make me feel uneducated and silly when I needed pain relief. Would I recommend him to my family or friends? No!!!
I have seen Dr. Goldstock a few times now and like him less each time. He never greets me and talks so fast I feel like run over by a bus.The appointments always run majorly late and usually last less than five minutes and he is so overbearing that I never even get to ask my questions. He might be a good surgeon but his bedside manners are poor. He comes across as very arrogant.I also did not appreciate it that he saw me without wearing a mask during the time of the pandemic when everybody is urged to do so. Wearing a mask on your chin does not cut it.I will not go back to see him.
He made my super shoulder surgery in 2016, and when he released me he didn’t gave me any instructions to follow after the surgery. He sent me to work full duty. So I was working in a job that wasn’t compatible to my arm. Therefore, my surgery ruined again. And when I went back to him, he refused to meet me at all.
Best Orthopedic Doctor ever. He is very professional, knowledgeable, attentive, and is very concern about his patients wellbeing. I was missed diagnosed by another Doctor. As I went to visit with Doctor GoldstockHe fixed my right rotator cuff and muscle
I have been familiar with Dr Goldstock at Ortho NY since 2010 and have never experienced any problems with their staff. Always personable caring and honest. Am presently being seen there now as well.
Dr Goldstock has done three surgeries on me and I never had a problem he isn’t never rushed. I would recommend him heartily
Have seen him on multiple occasions . Careful explanations and best outlining options. Unlike some others I’ve met ( 14 Ortho surgeries) he does not try to “sell” surgery but let’s you decide when you believe it necessary. Sense of humor helps. Follow-up is excellent
I completely tore my rotator cuff in my right. Shoulder leading up to this I was in moderate pain I couldn’t sleep on my back so my recliner became my best friend I couldn’t have my surgery until in early winter when I was off from work he was a great help getting me through the toughest 8 or 9 months of my life told me what I could do and what not to do well about 6 months in I did a don’t and well completely I mean completely tore my rotator cuff anyway long painful sort short he fixed me and my shoulder is as good as new now I’m going to have him fix my left shoulder that he told me would do the same as my right can’t thank him enough
Dr. Goldstock treated my mom with kindness and a minimally invasive procedure which was successful. He is a doctor who believes in treating the patient based on their overall health and not solely on the results of an MRI. He is one in a million!!!
Initial surgery date scheduled when Dr was on vacation. Both my primary care and myself have called NUMEROUS times to reschedule with NO response. Time to find another Dr
I really enjoyed my experience at Ortho NY. I would highly recommend Dr. Goldstock!
He removed a bone spur from my mothers shoulder, which originally was misidentified as a rotator cuff tear on the MRI by a radiologist. During surgery he correctly identified that there was no tear but rather the source of pain was from a bone spur. After 1 month from surgery, my mother was doing very well and currently--1 year from surgery--she is doing excellent.
Excellent doctor. 15 years later and my hand is still perfect. Great job by him to help my body heal right.
Doctor Goldstock has been my orthopedic doctor for many years for both my elbows and my hands. He is one of my very favorite doctors, he has a excellent bedside manner and is incredibly funny with a great sense of humor. Somehow he can make it fun having painful injections done. He makes you laugh to take your mind off of it and before you know it's over. I highly recommended him!
I have been going to Dr. Goldstock for over a year now. He is a very caring, excellent surgeon and has been doing everything possible to fix the problems with my shoulder.
Dr. Goldstock was the available surgeon when I was brought to St. Peter's with an unstable segmented fracture on my tibia. I am grateful for the excellent job he did with the surgery that involved putting a rod and pins in my leg. He was caring and compassionate , and I appreciated his humor. Dr. Goldstock was extremely patient while answering my endless questions, and took time to explain all the answers clearly.
Dr. Goldstock is rude with a god like complex . He did knee surgery on me and couldn't even bother to talk to my wife after. I went back weeks later and said something is wrong. He drained the knee and sent me to PT. This went on every month for 4 months drain the knee , PT. I went to another doctor who couldn't believe what Goldstock did/didn't do. This doctor from another practice fixed my knee with surgery that included using screws to put my knee back together. no more going to have it drained ever month like with Goldstock.
Dr. Goldstock take a very light hearted approach to his treatment. This doesn't mean he doesn't take you seriously it means he is personable and not an alarmist. When I did voice my frustration with the healing process he took the time to explain that I had unrealistic expectations and the extent of healing that was required. He also in turn adapted my recovery/therapy for my wants and needs. I was 43 at the time of my shoulder surgery and chose Dr. Goldstock because he had treated my son who at the age of 18 months broke the ball joint clear off his elbow, requiring surgery and pinning of the bones. Dr. Goldstock took charge of the situation, something I very much needed and cared for my emotional needs as much as the physical needs of my toddler. I won't see anyone else.
