Never recommend this man to anybody! Doesn't know anything! Proceeded to tell me my son wasn't allergic to bees when I watched my son go into anaphylactic shock and is allergic to 3 out of the 5 bees he was tested for. The man needs to retire because he also failed to send the prescription for the epipen to the pharmacy!

Sorry to say this, but this allergist wasn't helpful to me, too. Maybe others had different experiences, but I think he probably doesnt understand what you tell him or just seems preoccupied with other worries, etc. I'm sure it's a stressful career. But a couple of the nurses who give shots and take vitals are just downright rude and obnoxious. One of them, who speaks in a deep voice, is unfriendly and unpleasant. Not what you need when you are experiencing the misery of allergies/asthma/etc. Another one of them is a real ditz and reminds of a giggly middle school girl making inappropriate jokes and comments. She would just stare at the patients getting their shots, and taunt, "Boy, you are just a human pin cushion." Really helpful and inspiring to hear, isnt it? The staff at this place are clueless to the suffering of allergic folks. Better to go to some other practice where you will be taken seriously.

He said he couldn't test for black mold, I was exposed through my office HVAC, and my symptoms aren't the typical for black mold. He told me to search the web, specifically the CDC. And the CDC lists my symptoms for black mold. He was no help and did not appear to care at all about my symptoms.

This allergist is okay and not bad. However, 3 of his nurses/ reception staff are just RUDE! There are two or three nurses/medical staff who are very nice and caring but the majority of them have rotten attitudes. When you go for weekly allergy shots, there are about 2 nurses who are arrogant and make discouraging comments about your health and make fun of minorities. They must hate people who are different from them. I don't expect false praise and hope and certainly no artificially sweet comments. I don't do small talk constantly, either. However, when you get allergy shots on a weekly basis, common courtesy from these 2-3 rotten nurses should be a requirement. They show zero compassion and look like they are sick and tired of their jobs. They make friendly small talk amongst themselves, though. I understand that the health care is a serious business, but why is there one kind of treatment (lousy)for patients and another kind of behavior (civil and polite) for each other?
