List of St. Peter's Hospital's Reviews
The ER is a joke. Idk if it’s a race thing but I was sitting in the ER for literally 9 hours when I was told I would be going upstairs. Then I was told that I would receive the same care upstairs as I would in the emergency room. Like huh. So unprofessional. Very rude male nurse during the night shift on 4/7. Was literally waiting 30 minutes after pressing the button for them to come see what was wrong. Literally ringing the bell to call a nurse and I could see them laughing and socializing at the desk. I’m unaware if they realize that this is a job not a place to socialize. Had a painful IV in that they refused to remove. Horribleeee experience.
They care about me so 5 starsUnlike other places
these people are the worst in every sense of the way! the obgyn department of the hospital is operated by a group of hacks including the doctor in charge dr. baker. they called secuity on myself and my two year old and for that reason we had my son at amc! they don't practice medicine they practice hackery, and quackery!! save yourself and find real doctors, and real medical care!!
My husband recently had quadruple bypass at SPH. It went amazing well under the guidance of Dr. Terrien. He was home in 4 days. The surgery was performed in about 3 hours. The recovery in critical care was the best he could have asked for. I am sorry I can’t remember everyone’s name, but Quinn, MJ and Andrea performed their duties at the highest level as did the other NPs and RNs. There was no situation they could not handle. Everyone we had contact with was upbeat and friendly. What great team work!Thank you for all your efforts as you helped us through the unknown. We will never forget this great experience considering the circumstances. Much gratitude and “heart” felt love.
I thought giving one star was being considerate, but considering the 2 nurses who showed compassion and genuine concern for my moms care, I felt like being nice. Being a person of color, the statistics, meaning the numbers do not lie in regard to the disparities constructed to administer to my mom ...and considering the lack of care, communication, information and miscommunication with the doctor's, I am terribly disappointed with the experience my mom and family received at this hospital. Being understaffed and overworked is one thing, but being neglected and written off with no compassion is another. It is beyond sad and disappointing to feel this way in 2022. I can not comprehend the uncivilized manner in which health care has approached serving specific classes of people these days. Being a religious hospital, I pray that I see the day when change comes and I'm hoping that I can be a part of that change. St. Peter's you have to do better and faith leaves me to believe that you can and will, but at the expense of my mom's death and your negligence.
I was in the ER yesterday and was seen by Dr Jandali. I was very anxious and I was expecting the worst case scenario. St Peter's ER was busy, but the caring staff and the quality of care was totally appreciated. Thank you all!
Do not go to the emergency room. I could have lost my husband if he didn’t walk out of the hospital. He sat there with a bowel obstruction and they left him and wouldn’t even come over to check on him. I had to take him to a different hospital to seek medical attention. If they would have come and check on him he would not have perforated his bowels but they didn’t and now he’s incredulous sick. Complete incompetence on there end. Please saved your loved ones life and go to a different hospital
Had a wonderful experience having our first baby here! The entire staff is friendly, approachable, knowledgeable, and they truly care. Would not want to have such a special moment anywhere else. Thank you St Peter’s Labor & Delivery, Maternity, and Post-Partum staff!
Great experience, knowledgable doctors
so basically my friend overdosed and they gave her no testing, didn’t allow her to see her a doctor, wouldn’t give her water, she wasn’t allowed to pee and they told her to sleep it off. she was classified as the most least risk patient there when her eyes were literally rolling back into her skull. we sat there for 3 hours and they did not give her a room. they wouldn’t let anyone come back with her and every time we asked for information as her emergency contacts we were continuously hung up on. don’t go here even if your life depends on it.

Selection Criteria
All the information you see here is based on our analysis of internet reviews across the seven major review platforms most used by consumers during their healthcare provider selection. The platforms we selected are Google, WebMD, Yelp, HealthGrades, Facebook, RateMDs, and Vitals. The analysis algorithm uses the compiled data of average score, recency of reviews, number of reviews, and the sentiment expressed in the written comments. It then assigns weight to each parameter based on the available research on how consumers use reviews in their doctor selection process. This report is designed to help identify the doctors with the best overall review score in an area and does not reflect the doctors' competence.
