List of The Ima Group's Reviews
have had appointment with these ppl for like 2 months no one calls to cancel just cancel then u call n wait for ever.. had another appointment today n still no email now call was at 12pm.. well never happened so is this place a scam or wats going on I dnt got time to run around looks like I'm call ssi for my son.. hes the one who has to do all this hes been kept home from school for this n missed days.. poor services n all iv read was poor services from this place. also it's really not bout covid19
Had an appointment today for my 15 year old. Had to bring her 8 year old sibling with us.We were told policy prevents them from allowing us to remain together. I asked for the policy and had the cops called on me.Cops were pretty cool and understood where I was coming from. They wouldn't provide this policy to them either so they sat with the little one so the other could keep her appointment. The Doctor told us that they could have made an exception. I would give negative stars if possible.*update*Owner response is, as expected, false. Police were called because I asked to see this 'policy' and said we would wait because the ONLY people that could provide it were in a meeting. There was no emergency. No one was threatened. If that was the case, I would've been detained and not HELPED by local law enforcement. They called the police either because we're poor or Black, perhaps both. They were reported via the agency that sent us. The agency even apologized for this atrocious behavior but not IMA group! Nope. They defended it. *see below* For a policy that is so far still not provided or available to view. The Doctor told us that they could've made an exception especially during these trying times. Instead, they chose to call the police on a Mom and her 2 children for simply asking for proof that they were being refused to be seen based on a policy that they couldn't provide. No voices were raised. No yelling or threats were exchanged. We simply offered to wait for 'proof' of this policy (a website, a print out, a poster in the waiting room- anything) It was a perfectly reasonable request when being denied to keep an appointment because the 8 year old didn't have child care on a half day of school.Nobody goes to this office by choice. They are mandated by workers comp, social security, etc... Therefore there is no means of pursuing this further or we would have other than reporting this horrendous behavior to the mandating agency. The local law enforcement was also contacted and thanked for handling this call with such class and care. So, the owner can respond however they like but, without an admittance of inexcusable behavior by their staff and an apology, I will continue sharing our story with anyone who will listen. There is no video or photographic proof as that policy was clearly posted on the waiting room wall AND the appointment paperwork and was acknowledged and respected by us. We also didn't show up with symptoms of Covid19 as that policy was clearly posted and available. I am still waiting to this day for a copy of the only 2 people (including children) are allowed at an appointment policy which the owner could've easily listed below and still hasn't. This should tell you all you need to know about their response...*update*
Extremely slow even with a near empty waiting room. Something simple that should of been an in/out took well over an hour just in the waiting room on two occasions.
I have been working for IMA for over 20 years. It is a wonderful company and team to work with. It is a fast growing, fast paced environment with lots of opportunity for advancement for those who excel. The company mission has always been to help the underserved, disabled and disadvantaged. Some of the reviews left here are disheartening by those we attempt to help. If you are considering a career here, do not hesitate, there is tremendous opportunity and we will welcome you.
ABSOLUTELY disgusting make you do x-rays when in fact an x-ray can't find herniated disc. Multiple questions doesn't matter how you answer. They will lie and it is so dirty and rude people live there. They found 38 issues and was still denied. Seventh year of this bull. They lie, lie, and lie.
Tried calling the 800 number they give you to call and it is just a loop to nowhere. Call 518 number on website for site location, no one answered and no way to leave a message. Sent an email got no answer. Come to my appointment today with my son because I'm in a wheelchair and need help and he was my only option for today and I'm turned away because no children allowed.... All of this would of been avoided if they actually answered their phone!!!! WHY HAVE PHONE NUMBERS AND AN EMAIL LISTED FOR NO ONE TO ACTUALLY ANSWER!!!!
Three hour wait for a SCHEDULED early morning appointment. Trash. Rude staff, toilet broken and full of human waste, no out of order sign, no hot water, empty sanitizer. This is a HEALTH clinic????
Went to ima june 2019 got denied. I have a iep and a learning disablity since i was five. I also have aneixity which it makes it hard to work full time. I dont know how this place can give out checks to people that just dont have a disablity. I cant help i was born with a disablity. Doctors there l dont think read my iep i gave them or even contacted my own doctor.
I couldn’t agree more with Jim.
Given the tough times we are facing, I can't say this was a terrible appointment. The wait time's were doable, and the staff was friendly. I appreciated the care Dr. Kidd gave me when she realized I had "other" issues going on far beyond the ones I was sent to be evaluated for. My only complaint was not knowing I would be required to stay and for x-rays after the visit but that was pretty quick too.

Selection Criteria
All the information you see here is based on our analysis of internet reviews across the seven major review platforms most used by consumers during their healthcare provider selection. The platforms we selected are Google, WebMD, Yelp, HealthGrades, Facebook, RateMDs, and Vitals. The analysis algorithm uses the compiled data of average score, recency of reviews, number of reviews, and the sentiment expressed in the written comments. It then assigns weight to each parameter based on the available research on how consumers use reviews in their doctor selection process. This report is designed to help identify the doctors with the best overall review score in an area and does not reflect the doctors' competence.
