Very friendly, professional, personal care. Dr is genuinely concerned and pro active in follow ups, resulting in a great post surgical outcome
Dr. Cavagnaro is an excellent Doctor who truly cares about his patients. My wife and I both go to the Doctor and we are both extremely pleased with the way he takes care of us.Dr. Cavagnaro is a true asset to the Buffalo Medical Group organization!
Dr.Cavagnaro became my doctor when my previous doctor retired. He has been great I’m so glad to have him.He never rush you and takes the time to explain why you need a procedure and why it is not the right time. I think he a great doctor and his staff is great also.
Dr. Cavagnaro will walk into the room reading your file for the first time, this after the receptionist asked me if I wanted a cortisone shot as soon as I was taken to my room. After going there for a rotator cuff/shoulder injury and he not knowing what the issue is. I asked shouldn’t I get a MRI to see what the issue was. He replied “no, it wouldn’t make a difference to me what I am doing for you.” Which all he was doing was give me a cortisone shot to help with the pain. After being very combative, he finally said: “of course your insurance will pay for a MRI since you’ve been doing all the PT/OT.” So if you want a cortisone shot offered by the receptionist, it is the place to go but don’t go there if you want someone to go past basic symptoms to find out what is really going on. You will hear a lot: “You probably have an underlying problem” but won’t get any answers.
Dr.Cavagnaro is an excellent surgeon with great bedside manor, he doesn't over book like some so his office stays on schedule pretty well. The girls in the office are very efficient at everything they do, highly recommend him.
Dr Cavagnaro is a highly intelligent and gifted surgeon. After two years of limping when I walk and being in severe pain he truly gave me my life back by doing a robotic assisted total knee repair. I live in a retired community and have gotten many compliments on how fast I am recovering. Today marks 5 weeks out and I keep meeting and exceeding PT’s goals. What a wonderful experience and a truly wonderful man. My heartfelt thanks to him and his wonderful office staff.
Doctor Cavanaro is a great doctor and I appreciate him very much!
Extremely thorough. Had total left hip replacement done. He takes time out to answer everything. Only 3 weeks post op and couldn’t be happier
Best Dr. Ever!!!! He did a total knee replacement and from the first time in years I actually have minimal pain!!!! He's amazing 🤩
Dr. Cavagnaro, his staff and the Millard Fillmore Suburban Hospital, along with the physical Therapy I received at the Buffalo Medical Group to be outstanding. I say this from the viewpoint of a retired General Surgeon.

Selection Criteria
All the information you see here is based on our analysis of internet reviews across the seven major review platforms most used by consumers during their healthcare provider selection. The platforms we selected are Google, WebMD, Yelp, HealthGrades, Facebook, RateMDs, and Vitals. The analysis algorithm uses the compiled data of average score, recency of reviews, number of reviews, and the sentiment expressed in the written comments. It then assigns weight to each parameter based on the available research on how consumers use reviews in their doctor selection process. This report is designed to help identify the doctors with the best overall review score in an area and does not reflect the doctors' competence.
