List of Rashida Khanam Md's Reviews
She is a horrible psychiatrist and I agree with all the above. Took my late husband to see her and she treated us like we were ignorant. Would not listen to my collateral information and I too am a psychiatric profession. She is awful. Zero respect for the humans who seek her out for help!
she treats veterans if you need a controlled substance she shakes her head and makes you feel like your doing something wrong this is at the prrc in buffalo ny for disabled veterans
This doctor asks ME what medicines I think I should take, and what I want to do. It seems like she's just rolling the dice and has no idea what she's doing. She refuses to communicate with insurance companies to get insurance coverage for vital medication which helps me from feeling suicidal.
WARNING, WARNING, WARNING! Avoid this woman like the plague! If you're like me and it took alot just to reach out for help then stay away as she will exacerbate your issue(s)! I'm sick just thinking about anyone being treated by her! Please heed this review or you will definitely be the next one to echo my sentiments! I pray for us all if she is allowed to continue to practice psychiatry!
This woman should not be treating anybody let alone people suffering with mental illness. She is a disgrace to the medical field! Please, please, please do not subject yourself to her!
MY FIRST APPOINTMENT WAS HER WAS HORRIBLE. SHE IS NOT KIND OR CARING. SHE DOENS'T SEEM TO CARE WHAT YOU SAY ABOUT YOUR PROBLEMS. I HAVE A HORRIBLE BACK PROBLEM WHERE I CANNOT SIT FOR EVEN SHORT PERIODS OF TIME. I TOLD HER I HAD TO GET UP FOR A WHILE. SHE YELLED AT ME AND TOLD ME TO SIT DOWN. THAT WAS MY FIRST AND LAST VISIT WITH HER. SHE DOESN'T SEEM TO CARE ABOUT PATIENT PROBLEMS AND IS DISTANT IN HER APPOINTMENTS.
Completely unprofessional and disrespectful. Hardly listens to anything I say to her and does not stay consistent with her notes in my chart. Has tried prescribing medication to me that has made me sick previously while under her care. Has answered personal phone calls during our visits several times and speaks to me like a child. She never records important Information about my condition and is extremely difficult to collaborate with when discussing medication options. I can't wait to switch!

She answers her personal cell phone during exams and is quite condescending while discussing psychiatric issues regarding my diagnosis. She does not listen or respond well when asked questions about meds nor does she seem to have much compassion during our exams
DR. KAHNAM IS A VERY GOOD PHYSICIAN. SHE IS KIND, UNDERSTANDING, AND LISTENS BEFORE SHE DIAGNOSIS. HER SESSIONS ARE VERY SHORT AND TO THE POINT. I HIGHLY RECOMMEND HER.

Selection Criteria
All the information you see here is based on our analysis of internet reviews across the seven major review platforms most used by consumers during their healthcare provider selection. The platforms we selected are Google, WebMD, Yelp, HealthGrades, Facebook, RateMDs, and Vitals. The analysis algorithm uses the compiled data of average score, recency of reviews, number of reviews, and the sentiment expressed in the written comments. It then assigns weight to each parameter based on the available research on how consumers use reviews in their doctor selection process. This report is designed to help identify the doctors with the best overall review score in an area and does not reflect the doctors' competence.
