List of Riffat Sadiq Md's Reviews
Dr. Sadiq has and continues to go above and beyond to take care of her patients. A recent example is when she came to the house to examine my family member within 24 hours of contacting her since he is wheelchair bound and it is difficult to take him out of the house. She always takes her time and is very thorough, patient, and compassionate!
I went with my husband today for a follow up from an er visit. I was in utter shock at how bad the pa Longbine was. She never even looked at the problem we were there for . I asked a question and she totally dismissed me about the issue. My 7 yr old son could have done a better job. Needless to say we are switching drs. DONT TRUST THIS PLACE WITH YOUR HEALTH!!!!
How did she even get through Medical School?? My teenager is smarter than her! She is probably the worst Dr in Buffalo and chances are you wont even get to see her. You will see a PA, that is her sister and is probably worse when it comes to smarts. Terrible office also. You can tell by the surroundings that they dont care for their patients! They need to get with it on all fronts!!!!!
The worst and not an intelligent MD at all!! Do not go to WNY Medical!
My medical care was transferred to WNY medical group, after my PCP moved out of state. In the short few months this group has been in the facility, it is now unrecognizable, and disgusting. I was not seen by Dr Riffat Sadiq. After my initial visit with one of the PA’s, I had to ask who is the physician? (The website misleads patients, appearing to have many physicians) I was told I would NEVER see a doctor there, “But the staff can call her if they need to!” (No kidding) WNY medical website makes clear her focus is business, and not patient care. As founder in 2002, she’s President and CEO, works out of 9 different offices, a hospitalist at ECMC and affiliates with many other hospitals. The statement above her photograph, “Great things in business are never done by one person. They're done by a team of people.” This is not an individual who CARES to know her patients. She is not board certified after 32+ years of practice. It boasts about her business accomplishments, with terms like compassionate and skilled as after notes. I’m glad to be seen by a PA or NP on occasion. But, I would like to personally know my PCP. I was seen by a PA who’s idea of a physical exam was: Listening to my heart and lungs over my coat with her stethoscope barely touching me. Then she gave my ankles a quick squeeze over my pants, and then pulled down on my arms by my wrists. ?? That’s it!?!? Then she looked me in the eyes and asked, “Do you have any questions?” To which I responded, “Yes, whose urine is on the counter?” As there were 3 specimen cups, without any identifiers, filled with urine of different shades of yellow sitting on the counter! The PA made numerous assuming statements regarding my PMH, and current concerns. She TOLD me I haven’t had blood drawn for over 10 years! I said that was incorrect, I recently had annual routine labs drawn. She argued “Not at Quest!” I said, “No, I don’t use Quest.” The receptionist ended up finding my recent lab work in the computer. In attempt to reorder medication after a 15min struggle on her laptop argued to forfeit the effort and just tell me Walgreens didn’t accept Escripts. Just a moment later she figured it out and reordered the non narcotic routine Med. She recommended a mammogram when I turn 50. When the standard is 40yoa! WNY medical group is awful. Im researching and selecting a new PCP ASAP.
Dr. Sadie has been my primary 7 years. I have never seen her.only send her nurse.
As ridiculous as it sounds, I have been a patient with this practice at the French Rd. Location. The staff turnover rate is quite embarrassing. Is there emphasis on employee retention? Continuity of care? I have yet to EVER see Dr. Sadiq yet alone have an appointment with her. I have no problems seeing an NP or PA, but many do, so go elsewhere if you are expecting to see an MD or DO. The offices themselves leave a lot to be desired. I am switching doctors after the new year. I would advise that if you are doing some research and looking for a new medical practice for care, do not choose WNY Medical.
I have been a patient of WNY Medical for years and have NEVER met nor seen Dr.Sadiq. I only have seen the NP. The turn over rate for her office practioners is horrible . I advise NO ONE to choose this Doctor because you will never see her and no one listens to what you say about what's going on with your own body! Protect yourself and go to a better place that will listen and care about you! You are just a number and the on call phone center rarely has people that speak English nor understand what was said to them. Unprofessional!
I chose Dr. Sadiq based on my grandfather's history. Like myself, he hated doctors. But for whatever reason, he always looked forward to seeing Dr. Sadiq. It was easy to make an appointment as she has many offices in the WNY area and bound to have one near your home. As ALL doctors, they can only be prompt with their first appointment of the day. Remember this when they are spending extra time with you when the next patient is waiting their turn. So, a little wait time is a positive trade off. Her staff at the Harlem Rd office is very courteous. Her accuracy is right on. I went into her office with my own diagnosis of a bad lung infection and was sent directly to the ER as she knew my heart was failing. Her bedside manner is terrific for a doctor. She took the time out of her busy schedule to pay me two visits during my hospital stay. People have to remember, she is your primary doctor. She diagnosis you with what is wrong and then places you with a doctor or team of doctors that she believes will best help you. She's not going to be with you every minute of every day as she did her job. With her many locations in the area, she can't possibly be at all at once. However, she has a tremendous team that all are trained to give you their undivided attention and care. Luckily for me, she was at the location for both of my visits and did check in on the nurse. You can also rest assured that she sure will check in on you to make sure everything is going well and that you are getting the best treatment possible!
Was the house doctor for my mom's assisted living center. Never met my mom, always sent the Nurse Practitioner. Did not respond to the house nurse's calls when my mom needed help for her labored breathing even though the nurse called during office hours. Her Nurse Practitioner sent my mom away even though she had trouble breathing because she had to be somewhere else during my mom's scheduled appointment. NEVER saw my mom when she was in the hospital.

Selection Criteria
All the information you see here is based on our analysis of internet reviews across the seven major review platforms most used by consumers during their healthcare provider selection. The platforms we selected are Google, WebMD, Yelp, HealthGrades, Facebook, RateMDs, and Vitals. The analysis algorithm uses the compiled data of average score, recency of reviews, number of reviews, and the sentiment expressed in the written comments. It then assigns weight to each parameter based on the available research on how consumers use reviews in their doctor selection process. This report is designed to help identify the doctors with the best overall review score in an area and does not reflect the doctors' competence.
