Spent a week in here this summer. The staff was great & very helpful. My only problem with this hospital was their grilled cheese, terrible. Not only was it kinda gross, but very hard to obtain. Why are they holding back the cheese? It’s not that hard to make. Other than that this hospital helped me a lot. 9/10 would go back (in the event that I must, which I’d rather not)

Jennings Hall in my opinion is the best detox and Rehab I've ever been to. The food is really good. Most of the nurses are really caring. The whole staff went above and beyond. Thanks Jennings!

I have, unfortunately, been in several psych hospitals. This is easily the best of them. The groups are varied and actually feel worth attending. The staff are all so nice. The food is palatable. They make sure to give you outdoor time, weather permitting. There's Netflix there. All the staff seem like they actually want to be there. My name and pronouns have always been respected each time I've been here. They even helped paint my nails. One downside was a doctor trying to blame my mental health issues on taking hrt which, I mean, I've had issues way longer than I've been on hrt. If you have to go to a psych hospital, this is the one you want.

My son I quick to express any dislikes about anything and everyone. This place changed him with full improvement. He always told me how nice they were and the handling with structure helped him understand the difference between his daily responsibilities and knowing that the luxury he likes is to be earned: a book can available but television is not a necessity. They found the proper medication for him and my baby has been doing exceptionally well. They did a full 180 with his mental health and behavior. Whomever had a bad experience was probably at a different unit. As far as my experience I will say they helped my baby and he has no complaints ( he will always make it known if anyone messed him)

Was voluntarily admitted here in 2018 February during the Olympics about two weeks from February 9th to the 21 st and my stay was great plenty to eat drink staff made sure we had lots of toiletries safe pleasant place now five year's later I got my own apartment and living comfortable.

It has been years since since I was a patient at south oaks. I have only great things to share about it. I was a adolescent/ young adult at the time and I was going through a very, very difficult time in my life. All of the staff made me feel very welcomed and each and everyone of them that worked there down to even the custodians were very professional and caring. The place was always very clean and the food was excellent. The atmosphere did not feel like a jail and the nurses and counselors were always on point with my medical care. The group's were even excellent and structured and everyone actually parts. I'm going to be honest if it wasn't for south oaks and it's wonderful staff I would not be were I am today. I productive member of society and live life on lives terms and I am honestly proud to say I am a alumni. Thank you

I did the partial program here back in like 2001. It was awesome and helped. This was 20+ years ago tho so i dunno if its changed since then.

My son jojo razvi is admitted the staff has been nothing be great the doctor as well was very easy it’s hard hearing the things we heard today but it’s the reality they are a good hospital so far it’s been 2 days he’s been there 28 more to go

My son had a crisis about to weeks ago, and we were at North shore hospital for two days before we got transfer to South Oaks. I started reading the online reviews and I was horrified by what I read. After having a firsthand experience , I have to say those reviews do not do justice to South Oaks. The facility is clean, the people that work there are compassionate, caring, helpful and respectful . I hope this review could help put other parents doubts to ease.
