List of Citymd Ditmars Urgent Care- Queens's Reviews
The front desk staff was very helpful. But the reason I give them such a low rating is their wait time. For an urgent care 1 hour and a half till 2 hours is a crazy wait. Then prescribed a medication not covered by insurance and too expensive to pay out of pocket.
Not great quiet disappointed on explaining my illness.
Take to long to take Covid test almost 3 hrs 🤨
I appreciated my experience here. I did visit with insurance, and received assistance for an ongoing dyspnea issue (a prescription and a few tests). I understand it can be a couple hundred dollars without for a basic visit/checkup. The kindness showed me by the front office and especially my doctor, really made my visit so much more comfortable. Thank you!
Excellent experience. No waiting time. Extremely polite and attentive PA. Called a doctor in to double check my blood pressure. I only went there for a Covid test and was very impressed. As it transpired later — no Covid!
The staff was polite and friendly. Very warm welcoming environment.
The staff were friendly, treated me with dignity, and addressed my concerns. I was diagnosed and treated for my illness. I feel a lot better now.
I went to visit this urgent care at the end of June with sinus pressure and headaches. I informed Dr. Chadderwala of this and asked for antibiotics. He examined me for about 30 seconds and stated that it was an ear infection and prescribed me ear drops instead of listening my concerns. Fast forward a month and my symptoms have become more aggravated and have also included ear pain and ringing. After seeing an ENT they confirmed that I do indeed have a sinus infection as well as a fungal infection most likely caused by the ear drops initially prescribed. Go somewhere else for your urgent care needs although the support staff was great the doctor I saw did not listen to a word I said and overall this place seemed like it just wanted to collect the copay at the end and not treat me
I had such a great experience here! Dr. Hosotani is amazing and took her time explaining everything. I didn't realize until I left that I had walked in right before they closed. Everyone was so patient, pleasant, and helpful despite the fact that I was the last patient of the day. And the whole facility is super clean and looks brand new.
Mediocre service but where it really sucks is their administrative shortcomings. This is the only CityMD that asks for a copay AFTER you leave. And even when you asked to pay your copay in person they seem to insist that you don't have one. Even though your records show you've paid a copay in the past. Then 2 days after your visit you get slapped with copay bill via email. This place is sloppy! I don't mind paying for what I owe, what I don't like is poor customer service! I only go to other CityMD locations because this one is not it!

Selection Criteria
All the information you see here is based on our analysis of internet reviews across the seven major review platforms most used by consumers during their healthcare provider selection. The platforms we selected are Google, WebMD, Yelp, HealthGrades, Facebook, RateMDs, and Vitals. The analysis algorithm uses the compiled data of average score, recency of reviews, number of reviews, and the sentiment expressed in the written comments. It then assigns weight to each parameter based on the available research on how consumers use reviews in their doctor selection process. This report is designed to help identify the doctors with the best overall review score in an area and does not reflect the doctors' competence.
