Had to have colon surgery and Dr maclaughlin was my surgeon. It was my first surgery I've ever had and I was very nervous about it. After my first meeting with him my nervousness was a lot less than it was walking in. I can't thank him enough for what he did for me.

Dr. Maclaughlin made an uncomfortable situation (nature of issue) a positive experience. He made me feel at ease and was very easy to talk to. He took the time to explain all aspects of my diagnosis, surgery, and recovery. Gave the pros and cons of various procedures and offered his expert advice. Nothing was a guarantee but at the same time he would make the best decision on course of treatment. He always had time for questions and answers. I would definitely put my trust in “Dr. Brian.” A huge thank you. And to answer a question he asked how was feeling and if I was happy (probably sensed I was feeling a little down as to the recovery time, Yes I’m happy and feeling great!

A caring person will go the second mile, but Dr. McLaughlin goes the fifth mile. I am so glad I found him. He has both told me the truth and been comforting, is highly skilled and outstandingly caring. He was concerned that I get exercise before surgery and th staff was all busy so he took me for a walk. My family and I trust him immensely and like him as a person as well as a fine doctor. I trust him.

I hadn't had surgery in a long time. I went through the Auburn Community Hospital Emergency Room. Dr. Maclaughlin was the surgeon. I had a great deal of fear and anxiety. Dr. Maclaughlin was very patient with me and reassured me that he would take care of me. I wish more of my Doctor's were like him. Thank you. . . . you're a super hero in my book.
