The doctor seemed competent and knowledgeable. His staff, scheduling and basic folow up has been abysmal. The staff made appointments for me without consulting me and then seemed very annoyed when I called to say I had a conflict with another appointment. After the surgery I was told that medication would be called into my pharmacy. It was not so I spent the day in a tremendous amout of pain.

He's a good surgeon but not great. He did a knee arthroscopy on me and even though he fixed the problem, I came out with different problems. He was very unclear of my diagnosis and what to do next. Now I have to get a second opinion in Syracuse. I'm not seeing another orthopedic doctor in Auburn again. SOS is much better.

Dr. Tallerico is the worst dr. I have ever seen. He never took the time to look at the MRI or X-ray. His decision was solely based on what the insurance company wanted him to say. Three or four times during the exam he was looking at the wrong arm.

Reschedule surgery do to incompetence

He was great! Easy to talk with and explained the procedure well. Gave us a choice on the surgery. Spent and hour with us! Told us like it was didn't sugar coat it! Fixed a couple of our friends perfectly !!

I would never recommend going to this doctor. He could care less about his patients. He does not follow up after the surgery and he is very arrogant! I have to have my surgery redone because something is wrong. I wish that I had looked on this site before allowing him to do my surgery. I never would have chosen him as a doctor. He is doing a great injustice to the people of Star Valley. My advice to anyone thinking about having him do your surgery, "RUN" or you'll never be able to again.

Dr. Tallerico was seemingly confident and competent. That is why is selected him. He, however, provided limited follow up care. He solicited the surgery, but could was bothered by questions regarding recovery, options, and physical therapy. He is arrogant and lacked genuine concern for the patient. His PA is patient, but one does want to see the surgeon. I regret selecting a smaller, hometown surgeon because I thought I would receive better results and care than going to a larger facility with a more experienced surgeon. I have some complications that I am not happy with. Salt River Ortho advertises the best physical therapy and follow up care, but that is not the case. Everything ends once the surgery is over. I would not chose to go back. I was originally impressed, but my experience would lead me to another surgeon if I had it to over again. Communication is essential. One only gets one right and one left knee in a lifetime.

I would never go back to Dr Tallerico, and would warn anyone planning to go to him that they'd be making a grave mistake by doing so.
