I have been a patient of Dr. Avanzato for many years, but, in the past year, I was not notified of the closing of his office in Seneca Falls or his new office address. it is nearly impossible to get an appointment and after an upper and lower exam, it was 3 months before I got an appointment to talk about the results. His NP was very flippant when discussing the findings and, frankly, dismissive of my concerns. Looking for a more normal practice!

Dr Avanzato was fantastic, his bedside manner and thoroughness was exemplary! He listened to everything I had to offer, and carefully explored each item! would recommend him to anyone!

Was very unsure at first cause I don't feel comfortable with new doctors. This Doctor has great bedside manners and talks to you. Very polite. I of course will stick with him.

I'm rating 4 to be fair to the doctor. Truth is the receptionist was so short with me, I went with another's doctor. She was rude both times I spoke with her about setting up an apt. Seems like my PCP needs to be the middle man to pick a date. She wouldn't give me the availability. Someone didn't want to do their job and I couldn't imagine dealing with her for an extended period of time. Just plain miserable.

My first time ever going to this type of specialist. I had an upper endoscopy and I don't really remember a thing, including meeting Dr. Avanzato for the first time during the procedure, but in my follow up visit, he remembered everything we had talked about. He is hilarious, and made me feel comfortable. He also spent way more time explaining my condition to me than any other doctor ever has, and made sure all my questions were answered. He's great!
