List of Mark Mcswain Md's Reviews
Dr. McSwain has been our family doctor for over 10 years. He is compassionate, pleasant, and extremely receptive. I trust him completely. There is nobody else I would rather have to care for the people I love so dearly.
Been going here for a long time always got what I needed even when other docters had it wrong my docter always made sure I was taken care of.
Horrid doctor. He told my little brother he had cancer when there was nothing wrong with him and almost ended in a surgery he didn't need. Then he gets the flu and a high fever and meds aren't doing anything and the administrative assistant tells us " uhg fine! I'll leave a message for the nurse, but none of us are going to get back with you until next week so you might as well not bother". So to sum it up the doctor is a hack and the admin assistants are horrible people with bad attitude. Never go here.
He is a very good doctor. He is very thorough, caring, patient. He never rushes you through an appt. Takes the time to make sure you understand what he is explaining to you. I would definitely recommend him to my family!!
I had seen one of his assistants once, medication was superscribed that was not adequate. Not even before my check up over a month later he dismissed me. Before the second appointment I called about my blood pressure and he said he would not see me. I cancelled one test and was not aware of another. I tried to explain. He threw me away like I was nothing its hard to find a human in this profession.
my family has been going to Dr McSwain for 9 years. Dr McSwain has always been a good DR. but, the office staff and the lab staff are not friendly and don't work well with children. Seriously considering moving to another peditrican.
Dr McSwain is very busy with common ailments like cough ,cold, high blood pressure ,etc.. Therefore he is quick to diagnose and prescribe medications without taking his patients into account. I was given a medication and on my follow up I said it caused constipation but he upped the dosage anyway and I became severely constipated. It lasted over two weeks and I called his office I had to leave a message even though it was during office hours. I didn't get a call back that day so I called again next morning . I spoke with someone who said they would get back to me but they didn't so I called again at the end of the day and was told to take a tsp of miralax and reduce my dosage. The dosage for miralax is a tbsp so I adjusted it myself and did some research and after 3 days was fine. I was very unhappy with this experience. I feel the office is overbooked and therefore there is no time for the patient. Not sure if they grew to fast or just took in too much but the doctor patient relationship has certainly suffered.
I absolutly love Dr Mcswain! I have been with him for over 12 years now he is right on the dot whaen something is wrong. Very accurate and precise with his diagnosis and care plan. I would highly suggest if you are looking for a Dr to go to him. Bedside manner is awesone. He has even called me late at night just so I could have my test result and not have to wait all weekend. Again I highly recommend.
awesome office and great Dr.
Good Doctor, good nurses, good billing and office managers. Receptionist can be a bit difficult and condesending.

Selection Criteria
All the information you see here is based on our analysis of internet reviews across the seven major review platforms most used by consumers during their healthcare provider selection. The platforms we selected are Google, WebMD, Yelp, HealthGrades, Facebook, RateMDs, and Vitals. The analysis algorithm uses the compiled data of average score, recency of reviews, number of reviews, and the sentiment expressed in the written comments. It then assigns weight to each parameter based on the available research on how consumers use reviews in their doctor selection process. This report is designed to help identify the doctors with the best overall review score in an area and does not reflect the doctors' competence.
