5 stars for the front desk, but “Dr.” Michael Lee is horrible. He talked to me like a piece of garbage and hustled me out of the office. The treatment was so bad I had the front desk cancel my visit. Avoid this office at all costs.

Dr Lee took care of my burn. Much better today. Very competent, professional and caring doctor. City MD also took very good care of me during the times I had covid.

Their service is just great, but there's a stupid doctor just demanding me to pay $115 even though I just took the Covid testing for free. That's a piece of crook and s**t. Just dismiss that stupid doctor the way requesting the customer to pay the bill like that!!!

Came to City MD on bell blvd, Queens to test for covid and the audacity of the receptionist (Filipino) asked me to pay $225.00 or I won't be able to see a doctor. Really? And since I was sick, I felt like I was forced to pay the $225 and afterwards, she said you have to pay $225 first and when we bill your insurance, we will give you the refund. There's no refund at all because what are they going to bill my health insurance if they already took $225.00?! Not right. Who are these people and so called policies? So you mean to tell me if I didn't pay $225.00 upfront, I don't get to see a doctor and then I passed out at your office, you won't be liable??? This is so wrong on so many levels I called my health insurance to find out that this is not the first time City MD is doing this to their patients. Be wary!!! They are charging patients as primary care vs urgent care. I didn't go in for primary care. I have my own doctor and I went in to get a covid test. I went in to city MD today and I spoke with the manager, Julie C. And she said nothing she can do and to call the billing department. I said your staff charged me $225.00 so I should get my refund here. She gave me a bunch of BS and I'm going to contact the Better Business Bureau to let them know their practices isn't right. You can't force someone to pay first before seeing a doctor. Someone should look into this and if they have any questions on this, feel free to message me. It's disgusting how this practice can get away with this and they should be reprimanded for their actions. It's not right at all.
