DON'T SEE DR SILBERSTEIN. I brought my daughter in having just moved to Lynbrook for her 15month check up. Sr Silberstein did not acknowledge her existence once through out the entire appointment. We were at the office for over 90mins, most of which was spent waiting, which is unacceptable. He did not say hello, in fact he barely acknowledged me but certainly my child, who was his patient, was invisible to him. He is not particularly good at small talk, as he tends to stay quiet other than when talking about the medical issues at hand, but he has always cared about about my children's happiness during their appointments. Since he doesn't talk much I haven't been able to develop any kind of relationship even though we have been going to him for years, but he is a good doctor. He is knowledgeable and I trust his opinions. He is never dismissive of my questions and is never rude. He gets the job done.
