I am blown away by how rude and incompetent this doctor was. I have chronic pain that’s flaring up and wanted a referral for an orthopedist. Instead she prescribed me a muscle relaxer and said “maybe it won’t be chronic.” It’s been an issue for years; I told her that many times. I’ve been to doctors for it in the past. She refused to do anything but give me pointless medication. Claimed she couldn’t refer to me anyone outside of her specific office. When I tried to clarify she laughed at me and made a nasty comment about how I don’t understand what she’s talking about. Sorry, but if your patient isn’t understanding, then it’s your job as a doctor to explain it better. I also put I have difficulty understanding medical information on my paperwork but no one reads that.

I'm trying to figure out how she obtained her medical license. This doctor is the epitome of an incompetent doctor. She is also rude and unprofessional. I was taken back that I had to record her. She doesn't thoroughly explain anything. She couldn't even explain to me what TSH is. She refused to refer me to specialists who I have already been seeing and try to say I can only see specialists at ACPNY. That is not true. I feel sorry for patients that don't know how to advocate for themselves. I'm reporting her to the state and to my insurance company. If you have similar complaints, I urge you to do the same.

Dr Zaman is very thorough, asked question to understand the whole patient and offers great advice for a healthier life. She has a great bedside manner and genuinely cares about your wellbeing.

Left the visit with more questions then when I arrived. Dr wasn't able to access my electronic medical records during visit, which were available per her front desk staff.
