He ordered MRI for my dad and never bothered to explain. Very incompetent

didn't explain results of MRI that he ordered. avoid this Dr. you are much better off going to DR Misenhimer

I cannot say enough great things about Dr. Mahmoud. By the grace of God this Dr. came into our lives and we are so grateful that he did. Thank you Dr. for all you have done for Robert, we will never forget you.

I hate so bad that he has moved! Novant messed up when they let this Dr slip through their hands! I had 3 month follow up today at the Winston office and there is no comparison to Dr. Mahmoud! He is so much more personal and never makes you feel like you're in and out of his office quickly. He talks to you, explains procedures and protocol to you, but most of all, he listens to his patients! Love love love him! So glad I got my surgery in before he left! I will travel to NY if I ever need surgery again! No comparison!

I had a serious neck surgery and every step of the way, Dr. Mahmoud and his staff made a very difficult time a lot less scary. He shows a great deal of care for his patients. He will often have to reschedule appointments, but he does so because he is fitting in urgent matters and surgeries. His staff and office have always been very pleasant and understanding. I had a reaction to something after my surgery and he saw me on Christmas Eve to make sure that I was going to be ok and that I had the necessary supplied to completely and effectively recover. He has never shown anything but complete care for his patients. He is often very busy but he never makes you feel like you aren't worth his time. He is a rare and appreciated doctor.

I’m going to tell about my experience and visits with Dr.Mahmoud. I have been seeing him at Novant Brain and Spine center in Hickory N.C. He treated me for my chronic neck pain. And he treated me with my back problems. He performed surgery on me in December and I tell you this doctor and his staff are by far second to none. And just want to let Novant Health know that they are loosing a very very good doctor get away. I also told that Novant was closing the Hickory office. And leaving there patients out and trying to find another Neurosurgeon with out having to weeks and or months just to get an appointment. So good luck to Dr. Mahmoud and his staff. Thank you Dr.Mahmoud.

Dr Mahmoud is an exceptional neurosurgeon. His bedside manner & in office manner go beyond what is expected. He & his staff always go out of their way showing concern & attentiveness to my problems or concerns. They take the time I need to explain any concerns I have. I never feel rushed or that I am a bother. I highly recommend Dr. Mahmoud.

Wonderful!!, Dr. Mamoud very thorough, takes time to listen and explain test results.compassionate on exam. Had an emergency surgery. Delayed due to that. If I had been one needing surgery I would appreciate his patients waiting. Would recommend anyone any time. Thank you Dr. Mamoud!

Dr A Mahmoud is one of the finest Neuro-Surgeon that I have ever known. Great Human being and master of his art. highly recommended.
