Dr. Westervelt was great and so was her nursing staff, but when it came time to have a prescription refill called in to the pharmacy, they really dropped the ball. Literally every time I have contacted them about getting a refill, there is litte or no communication. Phone calls are never returned (even after waiting for days), let alone prescriptions being called in. Every month or so becomes extremely frustrating. I'm not sure what the problem is, but whomever is "in charge" of prescription refills needs to take their job more seriously. I have a special needs son who cannot lapse on taking his medication, and if he misses any doses, we have a serious issue on our hands. Despite calling their office far in advance, there have been unnecessary lapses in administering his medications. This is highly inappropriate for a doctor's office, in my opinion. Like I stated before, the Doctor and her immediate nursing staff are highly qualified, but their office staff leaves much to be desired.
