Leslie E Strickland's Online Review Report Card

I went to her because she was closer to where I live. She did nothing but criticize test that had been done on me in the past, vitamins that have been advised to take, and spoke to me like I was an idiot. She ran her mouth for most of the appointment, and criticize everything I had to say. Then she had the nerve to ask me if I had any questions. Nope, I wouldn't recommend her to anyone for anything. Now I have to go look for a new doctor, after waiting months to see her.

I just started going back and seeing the doctor she put me in panic attack medicine and anxiety attack medicine and she told me I'd be on it for 6 months then she was going to take me off how do you give somebody that was meds and cut somebody off just like that you don't she doesn't listen to her patience and what's wrong with them she yells at him and then she talks to us like we she's a psychiatrist she's not an MD she needs to go back to the prison and be a psychiatrist for the prison people

Condescending!

This women does not believe in meds . She doesn’t believe in psychiatry and other physicians have rolled their eyes when her name was brought as my primary care. It took me 3 visits to realize she tries to intimidate and use her position as a bully pulpit to chastise and ridicule people for having mental disorders or addiction problems. She blows it off as being stupid and irresponsible, raging against modern science that endorses these problems as medical conditions . She does not have your best interest at heart. She rather validate her world view than actually do things that normal doctors do. Very unprofessional and combative when questioned or challenged she makes you feel guilty for asking for help, and rejects possible solutions by vilifying your decisions. It’s hard for people to give things up, I was doing so incremental, trying to get the healthiest I could be and out of fake moral superiority she would not assist me on getting a procedure that was in my best interest. Also, she’s only a nurse practitioner, so if you need assistance her recommendations won’t hold weight or be accepted because she’s not a real doctor. If you want to be insulted and blamed for chemical imbalances and other ailments , she’s for you.

She is rude-condescending-doesn’t listen or believe her patients- I will never go to her again or recommend her

She is rude, mean, doesn’t listen, and raises her voice to patients when they are trying to talk to her about their care.

Dr. Strickland does not listen. She talks over you and minimizes concerns She is very rude.

Worst doctor ever! Rude, condescending and arrogant with little regard for her patients feelings or concerns. A mean woman .

I very much like and respect Dr. Strickland, been seeing her for almost two years. She is a good listener and very thorough.

If this is the same Dr. Strickland I'm seeing in Canton NY all the other reviews are spot on for what I'm receiving from her. First visit was productive, I thought I'd found a doctor who's willing to listen to me, and who is willing to use integrative treatments. But that wasn't the case after then, the second visit was very condescending, dominating, and brash. To the point, I just shut up and not listened to her, just had the thought that I'm going to find another doctor before I get too far into this and get everything all screwed up. She nor her staff listen to you the patient! If this is the same doctor who may have relocated to Canton NY, I wouldn't send my worst enemy to her! Everyone deserves dignity and respect, you won't get that with her nor her staff!
