Briarcliff Dental Care's Online Review Report Card

This review is long overdue, and to be completely honest I still don’t think I will have the words to adequately express how Dr. Jackson has changed my life. I am a stage 4 breast cancer survivor who use to have the prettiest teeth until undergoing 3 months of daily radiation. And I feel it’s important to mention that before Dr. Jackson I had severe dental trauma. Because it’s totally a thing. Every dentist before her was brutal, aggressive, didn’t care about me or my comfort, and to be honest were just mean! I mean I get there’s a job to do, but like I’m a human being. Teeth health is super important in my opinion. Bad teeth is linked to so many other health issues and if you have dental trauma you’re gonna skip addressing it and as a result suffer with other issues. I know I did! After radiation I had seen another dentist and he shammed me for having issues, totally ignoring the fact that I had just went through two years of cancer treatments. So I stopped going and as a result my teeth suffered a bit. Finally a friend of mine suggested I see Dr. Jackson, and I’m so glad she did because Dr. Jackson has healed me in so many ways!!! She saved my teeth, recognized other issues linked to my teeth and completely changed my quality of life!! On top of the decay from radiation, I had been suffering from severe migraines from tmj. The tmj was so bad my teeth were shifting and my migraines were so severe that I would loose my sight. The migraines were so intense that my oncologist sent me for imaging to rule out brain cancer. Dr. Jackson fitted me early on, made me a custom night guard and ever since my migraines have stopped. My tmj is not an issue. My teeth are restored, I’m sleeping, I wake up like a normal person, rested and ready for the day. I actually have not had a headache of any sorts ever since I started wearing it. And I don’t have brain cancer btw. It was ruled out. But even still, just something as simple as a custom nightguard has improved my quality of life. And the decay, she is saving every single tooth in my mouth and restoring my confidence. I have enough scars, and issues, she has made it so that my teeth aren’t another cross to bear. I had been ashamed to smile in photos or talk to new people, now I can confidently do both!! Dr. Jackson is more than just a dentist, she is a saint! She genuinely cares about her patients, cares about their comfort and pays attention to detail. She goes above and beyond!! I have NEVER felt so relaxed in my life at a dentist visit. So much so that two hours of dental work fly by bc it’s like being with an old friend!! I just love her so much and am so grateful for her and her care!! She is the best dentist ever!! I send all my friends and clients to her and they also just love her so much!! If you are looking for a good dentist, then look no further, Dr. Jackson is the best!!! She has me, my family, my friends and my spouse for life!! Ps, the trauma was worth it, because it led me to Dr. Jackson and she has healed my trauma, I appreciate her and her expertise!! She is just really the best!!

I'd highly recommend the BDC practice. They do everything well and treat their patients with great care. Terrific.

Office is bright and clean. Hygienist is professional and efficient.

Update. I’m now having work done on replacing a bridge and a crown and I’m so impressed with this team of incredible professionals who make even the most daunting procedures doable! Run don’t walk. This is the best Dentist practice I’ve ever been to. After my very first visit, I was very impressed with this team of all female personnel. I came with a lot of problems and they did a battery of cleaning, probing , x-raying , filming, etc., and were able to give me a sensible plan to deal with each issue in logical sequence. The team is so professional from the front desk to the dentist and the hygienist and everyone in between. I was so impressed. Everybody is extremely nice and very reassuring. The time they spent with me and the time they spent explaining what needs to be done reassured me that I’m in the right hands. I would highly recommend this dental practice in Briarcliff to anyone who’s looking for a true professional team who cares about you.

This review is for Dr. Jackson and the entire team at Briarcliff Dental Care. I had been thinking about getting porcelain veneers on my four upper front teeth for several years. Years of grinding (and probably genetics) had worn my teeth down. They had become much shorter over time, and it really affected my confidence and smile. I also had some gum trauma in that area. Over the years, I met with several doctors to learn about the process, but I never felt ready to move forward. Some immediately started recommending additional procedures, and I left feeling like I was being sold treatment instead of being listened to. That was not the case with Dr. Jackson. She was confident, very kind and never once made me feel pressured. She answered my questions honestly and made everything feel straightforward. I knew from the day I met her that I was going to move forward. Throughout the entire process, she was available to talk through any concerns I had. I was especially nervous about the shade match, and she took the time to get it right. Dr. Jackson also addressed my gum trauma. She did an incredible job. Everything looks so natural, and like my smile was years ago. I appreciated how excited Dr. Jackson was for the final result because you could tell that she truly loves the work she does. The staff was just as great. Everyone was friendly, accommodating with my schedule, and always kept me informed. The whole experience was smooth from beginning to end. This was something I waited years to do, and I am really glad I waited until I found Dr. Jackson and the team at Briarcliff Dental Care. Thank you!

The team was awesome. I called about a severe toothache midday Wednesday and was scheduled to see Dr. Jackson the next afternoon. She diagnosed my problem quickly as a cracked tooth, took X-Rays and a picture to show me the problem. A root canal was recommended. They were able to perform the first phase immediately to relieve the pain. Further, they scheduled the second phase for the following day. All-in-all, this was an amazing reaction to my needed treatment! Thank you Dr. Jackson and team.

First visit. Very gentle, very caring staff.

The dentist and hygienist were both very nice. They made me feel comfortable and did a great job explaining what they were doing. They didn’t try to push other services on me. They asked if I would be interested. I said no and they respected my answer and quickly moved on. It was a great experience all around.
