List of Jeremiah Benoit's Reviews
Dr. Benoit has been my primary for almost 10 yrs now. He is has always been extremely compassionate and attentive. I've never felt rushed at any appointment. I'm very thankful to have him as my primary. I would highly recommend him to anyone!
Dr. Benoit is a caring and compassionate doctor. He gives his patients his full attention and speaks to you in a clear and understandable way. He is not overly quick to offer pills to fix an issue or overuse testing and expensive procedures but rather takes a more conservative path to help you. Through various health challenges I have seen that his methods and treatments were spot on and resulted in me having complete confidence and faith in his skill as a Primary Care doctor.
Not a very good Doctor, doesn't thoroughly investigate your health issue. He also misdiagnosed a family member and gave them pain meds when they assumed he was giving them antibiotics, that family member got dizzy going down the cellar stairs and could have fallen. I definitely would Not recommend him to anyone.
When I go in with issues, he seems to just go through the motions. I've had to just about beg him to run test in the past, I had light headedness, dizzy feelings, visually things get dark and some other symptoms that time. He also Refuses to treat my anxiety issues. Also I had a family member go to him and he misdiagnosed them and prescribed pain meds when the family member thought he put them on antibiotics. That family member got dizzy going down their cellar stairs.
Dr Benoit is caring and thorough. He takes the time to listen to me and get to the bottom of whatever is going on. I appreciate and recommend Dr Benoit. He is a great doctor!
I would NEVER recommend this Dr to anyone. He misdiagnosed both myself & my son. He denied both of us appropriate care. we were both diagnosed correctly AFTER we got away from him. He told me I had no problem & I should meditate my pain away. A short time later I had shoulder surgery & need a complete shoulder replacement. He is a joke & was so wrong, never said he was sorry. My son had a broke collar bone & torn ligament & needs surgery, he said my son was lying. I am reporting him to NYS
I saw Dr Benoit when I was admitted at St Mary's. He diagnosed my Addison disease that I had suffered with for decades. If it wasn't for Dr Benoit I would have died.
Very helpful and friendly. Jeremiah stayed with me for about 45 minutes to discuss any issues or questions I had in detail. He wasn't able to diagnose a problem I was having with a joint (perhaps a sprain?), but told me to come back if it was still problematic or to see a specialist. I asked about his relationship with alt med. He supports "oriental and eastern med", such as acupuncture and chiropractic, but thinks little of homeopathy, naturopathy, etc. He told me he wouldn't prescribe anything he hadn't received training in, since I told him I wasn't an advocate of alt med. Overall a good experience. The alt med support concerns me, but finding an EBM doctor in this area is rare.
I recently had my first appointment with Dr. Benoit, and was very pleased with the experience. The office staff is very friendly and helpful; I was able to get a next-day appointment, even as a new patient. The waiting room time was short, about 5-10 minutes after I filled out all the paperwork, and I was in the exam room for only a few minutes before the doctor came in. He is very thorough; he went through my history and maintenance medications, examined me (this was a sick visit, not routine), and went through the medications he was going to prescribe. Not a rushed visit at all. He submitted my prescriptions electronically, and they were ready within an hour (kudos to Target Pharmacy, as well!). Overall, I was very pleased with the service; I will definitely see Dr. Benoit again, and I would highly recommend him!

Selection Criteria
All the information you see here is based on our analysis of internet reviews across the seven major review platforms most used by consumers during their healthcare provider selection. The platforms we selected are Google, WebMD, Yelp, HealthGrades, Facebook, RateMDs, and Vitals. The analysis algorithm uses the compiled data of average score, recency of reviews, number of reviews, and the sentiment expressed in the written comments. It then assigns weight to each parameter based on the available research on how consumers use reviews in their doctor selection process. This report is designed to help identify the doctors with the best overall review score in an area and does not reflect the doctors' competence.
