Dr C is very nice but impossible to get a hold of her or the office. Only way is through messaging on Mt Sinai website and the office doesn’t always respond. Not being able to get a hold of your Dr is a huge problem… especially if you have questions about results or need prescriptions.

Dr Carcatera is a wonderful physician who gives you plenty of time and attention however when it comes to results even though the news is fine , I still would like to go over it as any professional physician does. Disappointed as I have the results and it’s like reading a foreign language and no one to talk to , on top of the office Never sending the prescription after I personally went in to confirm that they would. She’s a great physician however it’s a dysfunctional operation and no guarantee of complete service rendered.

Dr. C is very pleasant and has amazing bedside manner! She is professional, personable and respectful. Many doctors typically rush visits, however Dr. C took her time and made me feel very welcomed and comfortable throughout the visit. She thoroughly listened to my health concerns and made medical recommendations based on the conversation we had. Her feedback was very helpful. I’m glad that I found a PCP who actually is involved in patients’ care and overall well-being. The gentleman at the front desk check in was also very welcoming and polite as well. I don’t usually write reviews, however I chose her as my PCP based off of all the great reviews I’ve read about her. It was an overall very pleasant experience. 10/10 recommend.

Have known Dr. Carcaterra since she was juast a Phys. Asst. many years ago. She is one of the best doctors I have ever known.

Dr Carcaterra is a very patient and caring DO. She will help problem solve difficult situations, she will give you the time you need at your visit. The mount sinai office seems to over book their staff in the last yr, but she will still give you her time & caring attention. Excellent DO (Imo). 😊

The Doctor herself is magnificent ,being a patient of hers for many years however the 3 star instead of 5 reflects the unprofessional response time from the office .I had a procedure done on the doctors recommendation & I called the office several times & for results & they never responded .It seems that they only respond on negative news however professionally that just does not work .Good news should have a response as well .

Great doctor. Very thorough and the best bedside manners. She makes you feel that if you go to her for your health concerns, she will conscientiously address them no matter how trivial they may seem.

I have been a patient for 3 years. For the last year I have watched the service and professionalism in her office plummet. Although I still believe in Dr. Carcaterra, her staff is atrocious.
