I wanted to see this physician but when I attempted to make an appointment, I was treated rudely, and lied to by the person on the phone. I was told the office doesn't take Medicare, BCBS or any MedicareAdvantage plans. I checked with my provider and she does take my insurance and how ridiculous to think that she wouldn't see patients 65+. I was transferred to a clinic where I couldn't get an appointment for almost 5 months. Think before you patron this office. No matter how god a doctor she might be, she's not the only one, and the doctor sets the tone for the office

Staff is incompetent. I tried getting an IUD with Dr. Payero and things seemed ok. They said I had to wait 4-6 weeks for it to deliver from the pharmacy to the office. After two weeks I got a call from the pharmacy and gave them a photo copy of my insurance card through email. A week later I called the office to confirm that the IUD was in fact ordered which I was told it was. I waited three more weeks with no updates. I then reached out to the office to get an update and they could not confirm any details. I had to call the pharmacy to find out it wasn’t covered under my pharmacy benefits. The problem for me is that the pharmacy had sent notice to the office a month ago that the cost couldn’t be covered. The staff failed to notify me about this update. I would’ve had to pay nearly $1000 for this IUD if I listened to the pharmacy’s advice. The office offered me other forms of hormonal birth control which I didn’t want and that i could only get the IUD through pharmacy benefits. The staff should’ve notified me that this could not be covered sooner so I could make arrangements earlier. Meanwhile I called my insurance and found another office that has IUDs in office and its covered under my medical benefits.

Very experienced and I felt so comfortable having you around for both my prenatal and delivery. This is the best labor I've ever had. She is simply the best!

I am unfortunately having an awful experience. I never write reviews - good or bad - because I feel that my experience may be different than someone else's; however, I am so disturbed by the treatment I have received that I am writing this review. I have now been trying to get Dr. Anita Holman to call me back for 3 weeks since my birth control pills that I have been on for 20 years are not being sold due to COVID. After multiple calls, she will not call me back to prescribe a different pill. I have not been able to buy a new pack. Having to go on and off medication is very difficult on a women's body. Putting a patient through that because a doctor will not return calls is unacceptable.

All the staff was exceptionally courteous and professional. Dr. Holman answered all questions and educated me on my body and treatment as a woman of color. Very comfortable atmosphere

Let me just start by saying, I adore you. One of the most honest and straightforward physicians I have ever met. And if I have another baby—it’s going to be with you and I’ll deliver at the Allen. Because it just feels so much like home. Send hello to everyone and warmest wishes!

She delivered my son in march 2013.. she went above and beyond her call of duty. I appreciate her care...
