Dr. Giovanis is a truly gifted and dedicated practitioner of Osteopathic Manipulative Medicine. For the past 30 years I have been under the care of primary care DOs and OMMs and speak from experience. I am a chronic pain sufferer and in the few short months I've been under her care my pain has decreased considerably, my mobility has greatly improved, and my mood is immeasurably better. My husband is also a patient and holds her in great esteem. Both of us wholeheartedly recommend her.

Dr. Giovanis helped me when I had a "frozen shoulder". My orthopedic doctor recommended surgery, but I was hesitant because surgery was not always effective. Dr. Giovanis had my shoulder moving within a couple weeks and I totally recovered in two months. I did have to do daily exercises and have a bit of pain, but this was no worse than the pain I was experiencing before I went to her.

I have been to Dr. Giovanis several times and every time she was able to perform manipulations and relieve my pain. She is very smart and really pays attention to what you say. Her new office is a lovely, calm, relaxing space. I highly recommend her if you have back pain. She has helped me avoid surgery a few times now! She is also very nice :)
