List of Ben Taylor Do's Reviews
Dr. Ben is fantastic. Period.
Great practitioner in a nice clean office. Ben immediately diagnosed an issue I'd been dealing with for the past few months and gave me effective and straightforward exercises that have already brought a lot of relief.
I definitely would and have recommended Dr. Ben M. Taylor to family and friends. Dr. Ben Taylor, to me is prime top quality in his field (DO). He is strong yet gentle and firm when needed - his hands and arms are a healing to the body when touched, yes he is very skilled at what he does. If retirement ever shows its face Dr. Ben Taylor will TRULY be missed. He is wonderful, I am happy and privileged to have made his acquaintance. Thank you, Dr. Ben M. Taylor!!!
I saw Dr. Taylor a few years ago for pain in my lower back that had become steadily worse over the course of about six months. I could not get into any comfortable position. Lying, sitting, standing ~ my back hurt constantly and I feared a herniated disc and surgery. A friend recommended I see an osteopath. After the first (very gentle) treatment, with Dr. Taylor, the pain was 50% better and by the time I saw him once more, 90% of the pain was gone. It was like a miracle. I saw him a couple more times, but have never had back pain again and that was about eight years ago (and I am a senior). Dr. Taylor was extremely gentle. So much so, that I marveled at the treatment and still do not understand exactly how he works, but it was wonderful energy and light. I've recommended him to many friends and should have written this review years ago. I'm deeply grateful to Dr. Taylor.

Ben Taylor is an enigmatic healer. While he is empathic and a good listener, he learns each patient’s body and then tries to reveal its balanced potential. I began seeing Dr. Taylor after about 6 months of chronic groin pain that had returned as a result of antibiotic use, prostatitis, and nerve strain. In addition, I had a locked-up sacrum and some spinal scoliosis. I had been to several urologists, acupuncturists, chiropractors, and pain specialists. I had tried auto-immune diets, tricyclic antidepressants, steroidal pain blocks, etc. Over a few months, we reasoned through the groin pain, hatched several action plans, and in the process, made real progress against the pain, and definitely corrected some spinal alignment issues I’d had since childhood. There are so few doctors who practice Osteopathic Manipulation (OMM or OMT), especially in New York. While Dr. Taylor does not accept health insurance, his office assistant is able to provide a detailed bill that is easy to submit for out-of-network insurance coverage. When I was searching for DOs in New York who practice OMT, I went to many who either did not spend any time or effort in the session or had no idea what they were doing. Dr. Taylor upholds the incredible legacy of osteopathy by being perceptively hands-on, spending time with his patients, and refusing to rush judgements.
Ben is a great doctor! Listens, learns and helps. What more could you want or need?! Highly recommend him. Every time I leave his office, I am grateful for how I feel and for his guidance. Joan, his assistant is also spectacular. She is friendly, warm and helpful. Love this place!

Dr. Taylor is a gifted, kind and amazing practitioner. I had visited him after seeing several other highly rated, board certified doctors. Dr. Taylor diagnosed my aliment in minutes. He even provided stretches and exercises to help prevent the issue from reoccurring. His office is clean, easily accessible and scheduling an appointment is a breeze - highly recommend!
Dr Ben Taylor is the best Osteopathy doctor there is. He communicates with his patients. His office is clean. The secretary/receptionist is friendly and helpful. His assistant is just as nice as he is too.

Selection Criteria
All the information you see here is based on our analysis of internet reviews across the seven major review platforms most used by consumers during their healthcare provider selection. The platforms we selected are Google, WebMD, Yelp, HealthGrades, Facebook, RateMDs, and Vitals. The analysis algorithm uses the compiled data of average score, recency of reviews, number of reviews, and the sentiment expressed in the written comments. It then assigns weight to each parameter based on the available research on how consumers use reviews in their doctor selection process. This report is designed to help identify the doctors with the best overall review score in an area and does not reflect the doctors' competence.
