Bryan Elzholz's Online Review Report Card

Dr. Elzholz is a very good doctor but the wait time is beyond ridiculous!! I literally had to take a day off from work when I had an appointment. If your appointment is at 9AM you can expect to get out around 12. They schedule appointments for 9 but the doctor doesn’t walk in till 10:30. After about 3 years I had to move on to another doctor. With my new doctor if my appointment is at 9 I’m out by 9:30.

I’m not sure what happened, but my first visit with him was great. He was an hour late plus 30 minutes of him dealing with something else. He listened and actually engaged with me. The second visit was all bad. I told him my pain level was on a 10 and he had no patience when examining me. He spent the entire visit texting and hardly looked at me when I asked questions. Even chastised his assistant in front of me. This is absolutely the worst doctor visit I’ve ever had.

This Man Will Without A Question Be Late For His Appointments And Not Respect His Clients By Being Punctual. I Hope Leaving This Review Will Show That Even Though He Is Serving A Mostly Uneducated Older Demographic, That There Are Still Consequences For His Inconsideration.

Super knowledgable and friendly, he explained my treatment options well after performing great diagnostic care.

Great doctor, I appreciate him actually treating the problem with different procedures instead of just lazily giving out pain meds.

Simply put, Dr. Elzholz only cares about money and not you.

Dr. Elzholz does only one thing. He optimizes treatment based on medical coding. Not to be confused with a code of ethics.

Terrible experience. It took four hours for me to be seen even though I arrived a few minutes early for my appointment. The facilities are undone and the bathrooms were flithy / out of paper and wreaked of urine. The staff looked worn out & agitated, (Except for Chris who was very pleasant), The Doctor himself interacted in an unpleasant demeanor, with NO bedside manner, as it were. I WILL NEVER GO BACK THERE. AND ADVISE THE SAME.

I didn't know Dr. Elzholz is not board certified in Pain Management by the Board of Anesthesiologists while he was treating me, incorrectly. Pain Management is a sub-specialty of the anesthesia specialty. You first pass the anesthesia certification and then have three chances to pass the Pain Management sub-specialty board exam. Dr. Elzholz failed the sub-specialty exams all three time and is no longer eligible to become certified. He lies...or stretches the truth...when he tells patients he is board certified in Pain Management when he only passed the general anesthesia boards. Dr. Elzholz pressed on my back and diagnosed me with arthritis of my facet joints. He gave me Percocet tablets for 7 days and recommended I have facet joint injections 6 days into the Percocet therapy. Dr. Elzholz promised that after the injections he would prescribe 30 days of Percocet and a second facet joint injection. My back pain runs down my left leg to my foot. I searched the internet based on my symptoms. It said I had either disk disease or vascular disease. I had an angiogram three weeks which diagnosed my disease correctly. Last week I had an angioplasty and stent placed by a vascular surgeon. I am now pain free. Dr. Elzholz failed to diagnose my disease. Pressing on my back will not diagnose my problem. Pressing on my back does not diagnose facet arthritis according to the experts. Dr. Elzholz would have me loose my leg. No wonder he is not Board Certified in Pain Management. He failed the board exams multiple times likely because he does not know the core material necessary to practice Pain Management.

After seeing Dr. Elzholz for about 2 years I left. I have looked for a new doctor, but each one very politely tell me they don't take patients previous cared for by Dr. E. On questioning, one told me that Dr. E's care is so outside of their standards that they cannot in good conscience try to repair the damage Dr. E has done
