I have a consumer health blog out of Geneseo, New York, and every day I hear from people all of the state complain about their family member who's living in a nursing home. These homes are usually part of this company where staff promises are never kept, the food is stale and the smell is like from animals living in a zoo. Family members cry when they complain to me saying what they market they don't preach, sorry to say. Please be careful when selecting a nursing home and read the star ratings first, that will help guide you.

Zero stars should be for this facility for the business office, that purposely withhold payments to providers who rendered life saving cancer treatment to numerous nursing home patients they are affiliated with. Over a year to obtain payment when there is a valid contract in place.

Troy, NY IS THE WORST, the management is a joke. staffing is a revolving door. the staff is always changing and they are always short staffed. Short staffing results in inadequate care for residents. Do NOT place anyone you love here.

WORST PLACE TO WORK ! THEY LOST MY CNA INFO TRIED TO MAKE ME GO HOME OR WORK HOUSEKEEPING AND WOULDNT PAY FOR MY FLIGHT BACK PLUS THEY LOST ME FOR 3 DAYS WHEN I FIRST MADE IT TO NY NOT TO MENTION I GOT STRANDED AT THE AIRPORT.

Martine Center in White Plains is terrible. Routine NEGLECT and ABUSE. Patients will sit in waste for hours at a time. RETALIATION by staff if patients complain is expected. Administrative personnel will lie or make up answers while looking you in the eye. They do not respond to concerns or ever follow up with any solutions. They are constantly understaffed and make no on call or backup plans so that patient to staff ratio is manageable. There are some kind staff that try hard, but overall the patient experience is miserable. Never send anyone you care about to this facility.

These people keep harassing me trying to get money from me because I was an emergency contact for someone that was at one of their facilities and claim that there is no supervisor to speak to or any way to leave a message for a supervisor.
