List of Children's Hospital At Montefiore's Reviews
I had an amazing birthing experience in this hospital. I don’t remember everyone’s names but let’s just say I wanted to come back and give thank you gifts to them I can’t speak for the other departments in this hospital but I will say their maternity ward and their post partum ward was amazing My nurses were so attentive and caring. My night nurse even watched my baby for me so I can get some hours to sleep. They were literally the sweetest even though I kept pressing the button to request them haha. I was a new a mom and was scared with every little thing but they never showed an ounce of annoyance or displeasure. When it was time for me to begin waking again the nurses were sooo supportive and helped me every step of the way. Even when my baby was delivered they held him and catered to him like he was their own. They’re the sweetest. I would recommend birthing in this hospital. Food was great too Oh and I must mention I gave birth during Covid so the way everything was managed was amazing.
it is been so far the horrible services I ever see. I called for information. Nurses are rode on the phone. I got a Patient since 9.30.21 until today and I only hear form one doctor. I called back to get information results that was made on Monday and nobody called me. I called them back and again Nurses are rude no answer and doctor keeps me on the phone for more the 10 minutes without answer.
Horrible unethical nurse on the 4th floor Raquel. Needs to learn how to conduct herself. I feel she needs More charisma and change that monkey looking face you carry. We ARE LIVING HARD TIMES RAQUEL NEEDS TO LOOK FOR ANOTHER PROFESSION. My experience was awful and truthfully the nurses want to know more then the doctors in this hospital. Montefiore has to re evaluate their nurses.
I call the paramedics and they took him to 233 hospital on august 13 at 730 the worst service ever he had to stay by his self because of COVID going on his age so I keep coming him because he could not see out of one eye had a mirgraine so bad so he couldn’t function at all. I call repeatedly to tell them he didn’t get no help and he was in lots of pain. but they put him in a room with people right next to him scream and they were in pain and they need Covid testing they did not do any CAT scans or xrays on him but put a vest on him and made him believe that he had one which he didn’t. they finally got to him the nurse bruised his arm by constantly sticking him in the same place. and place the IV in same arm same spot. where she took blood at where she bruised him. before they discharged him and told him gave him medicine for migraines and told him that it was a migraine go home. The worst services ever. I get it we going through a rough time but what happen to compassion .or just explaining to your patient that you have your hands full and you will get to them as soon as possible. No communication no good service and no answers no help
Personally I was pleased with my experience. I just thought that the wait was too long.
Es mejor quedarte a morir en tu casa que venir a este disparate de hospital 6 horas esperando y nada
I been in this hospital since Thursday morning. First the er is horrible the nurses are very rude and waiting time is ridiculous. Ive seen so many different doctors that I cant even say who my doctor is. There is no proper communication between staff everyone is saying something different. They was suppose to start me on liquids since Friday its now Saturday and they still havent given me anything. I called to get a patient advocate they dont even have that. They kept putting me on hold and no one would pick up. Once upon a time this hospital was great now its worst the worse. I will be calling my attorney something has to be done
Staff are not polite and the hospital is not allowing visitors to see their family. Every time I call the staff act so nasty toward me and my family members.
Dr.Brafman did a wonderful job I was in so much pain I couldn’t even talk I felt better within 20 minutes God bless her
I recently gave birth in Monti at Wakefield on June 5. And compared to my first delivery experience in another hospital I will say my husband and I was very pleased. From the moment I got to the hospital all the way till the time we was discharge. Every nurse and doctor was totally amazing kind and caring. I don’t remember everyone name but it started with a nurse named Mary and Ended with Vinitha. We got a Kelly and a Elinita and even an Angela. These nurses is the reason my delivery and recovery went Smoothly. The dr that deliver the baby was Joseph don’t recall his last name truly a life saver as even though a complication came across he did his best to make sure it ended well. Which it did. The food was good as well and my husband got a plate big plus. The first night we got a cider to toast our lil blessing didn’t expect that at all. Overall due to covid we was a little concern about the delivery experience but Monti labor and delivery unit did a phenomenal job to keep my baby and myself safe and healthy. Thanks again To all the Doctors and nurses as well those who clean the room because they are a big part of safety.

Selection Criteria
All the information you see here is based on our analysis of internet reviews across the seven major review platforms most used by consumers during their healthcare provider selection. The platforms we selected are Google, WebMD, Yelp, HealthGrades, Facebook, RateMDs, and Vitals. The analysis algorithm uses the compiled data of average score, recency of reviews, number of reviews, and the sentiment expressed in the written comments. It then assigns weight to each parameter based on the available research on how consumers use reviews in their doctor selection process. This report is designed to help identify the doctors with the best overall review score in an area and does not reflect the doctors' competence.
