Very bad experience. After my colonoscopy showed an adenoma, he referred me to a surgeon at a Bronx hospital. When I suggested I’d like to check with my insurance company, he very abruptly told me he won’t send me anywhere that doesn’t accept my insurance. I believed him and didn’t bother to verify. After several visits and tests, I was informed the hospital doesn’t accept my insurance. I now have to pay about $3,500 in uncovered costs!

Horrible experience! Appointment time was 12:30pm. Its 2:35pm and I have yet to be called. Very unprofessional and inconsiderate of peoples time

The first time I met Dr. Stein I liked him immediately. I suffer from anxiety and he made me feel calm. His bedside manner is amazing. He performed a colonoscopy on me and he was amazing from start to finish. I can't say enough about this wonderful Dr. I recommend him highly.
