Dorcas Morgan's Online Review Report Card

I'm so shocked at the negative reviews I'm seeing here. Dr. Morgan worked in MI and was my doctor for yrs while she was there, she took her time addressed my concerns sent me info and when it was time for me to have surgery we discussed everything including future plans while in the hospital she saw me everyday and when I refused current treatment to leave the hospital she was in the middle of clinic and she stopped to call and find out what was going on, she wasn't rude but very stern with me about my decision to leave and she was right because I ended up back at the hospital 3 days later she didn't get mad nor was she rude and I have never seen her rude to her staff but I do know at times her staff did not do as they were told when she was out of the office. I wish she was still in MI because I haven't found a GYN like her yet, you guy's are blessed to have her in your city.

I just came from seeing Dr. Morgan and am shocked to see negative reviews. She took almost 45 mins just to evaluate me in person. I have honestly never appreciated being in a doctors office for so long! Some people say she is rude to her staff but what I see is a woman who is direct and efficient. I would say she’s a thorough-bred in the being thorough department. Asked me everything then was opened to everything I had to ask. She’s intelligent, knows her stuff and I believe, wonderful. And if you have a problem speak up!

I was under her care for 1 year for infertility treatment which didn't work. she always fast rushing you out, to take the next patient. she talked down and yelled to her medical assistant which also in bad mood every time I came in. I decided to go somewhere else . there are still good doctors out there who can help me having my baby without be rude and disrespectful to me

I read a lot of negative comments about dr Morgan which would have affected my judgement of her, however, I took the time to get to know her , she lectured me about my fibroid and how she was going to tackle them ,I immediately connected with her, dr Morgan knows her craft. Two days ago I had a myomectomy done by dr Morgan. My surgery went smoothly and am so grateful that I met with this incredible doctor, when I told her my concerns, how I wanted to save my uterus, that the other doctors I previously visited told me hysterectomy was my best option, concerning my age and the amount of fibroid I had , dr Morgan took her time to do more research on my case and came up with different options and carefully explained them to my satisfaction. I definitely recommend dr Morgan she’s a strong learned black woman, you might not like her boldness,. I kid you not she is excellent in her practice Please take your time to get to know your doctors thank you dr Morgan ??????.

I found Dr Morgan to be patient she explained Everything to me and chatted through out my exam making the time go fast. I was very pleased with the whole experience and grateful that she works with my insurance.

They cancelled me 3 times. Told me that for sure 1st consultantion for fertility is covered and after that I pay for the procedure that will be needed. 4th appointment was today, again someone called me to reschedule stating that it was a mistake but I insisted because couldn’t come earlier. Finally arrived and the secretary started to argue that it doesn’t not cover and I need to pay and she told me that. If I would be told it’s not cover I would go to a different doctor and wait for her for the past 4 months when I was rescheduled every time. I specifically called a month ago and they got back to me that my appointment will be covered. One employee doesn’t know what the other says. Horrible

Terrible Doctor. She is rude to her patients and nurses. I don't even know how NYU can allow such a person to work for them. Shameful.

Rude, unprofessional and no regards for patient's time Does not value patients and thinks she is the best in the gyn business...full of herself and shows very lilttle empathy for human beings! After being a patient for over ten years, I will no longer allow or tolerate Dr. Morgan' s abusive and unprofessional ways! Believe me she is not the best of the best, still a few more great gyn female docs out there!

After reading the comments, I had to write. Dr. Morgan is excellent. She is obviously intelligent, skilled and is not there to hold your hand. She is a super professional, highly regarded, double-boarded Doctor. No, she is not your therapist, nor your mother. She is a Medical Doctor, speaks like one, acts like one, performs like one. If you want a middle-of-the-road, sweet-as-pie, know-nothing, go elsewhere. Dr. Morgan is on point and expects you to be as well. She will tell you everything, and explain it too, but you have to have the sense to pay attention and recognize that your MEDICAL DOCTOR is using medical terms to describe your medical condition. She is a reproductive specialist, an endocronologist and gynocologist, not a fertility clinic trying to sell you dreams. She is delivering true medical care. I like my doctors knowledgeable and Dr. Morgan is the best. I recommend her to everyone I can. The other reviews are those patients opinions, and come from their point of view, this is just my opinion. But I choose my doctors not for their bedside manner, because nice doesn't fix medical problems, but for their ability. I believe Dr. Morgan is an amazing diagnostician, physician and surgeon. That's what you look for in a doctor right?
