Came for an infection, and swelling of the leg that affected or worsen my heart condition. Ended up staying there 10days. Emergency room was avaragely clean and my experience was actually not bad, many test were done fairly quick. Needless to say i was in a very bad shape. About 24 hrs after i was brought up to the ICU. 🚫 for cleanines, (floor, n bathroom were filthy) tho someone passed by pretending to clean. On my 3rd day I told that person to actually clean the floor n bathroom and to my surprise she actually did!!! With that said once i was moved out of ICU the regular floor was always clean. Now nurses n care: i guess as every where else there are those who care with empathy,(25%) others do what's required, (25%) the rest seen annoyed and i guess it's just a job (50%). Some nurses are really good at ignoring you for hrs. Last but not least - Doctors. To my surprise they were very caring, knowledgeable n involved, only 1, 2 sometimes 3 doctors came to see u with actual info on your condition. Unlike Jacobi that usually 1 doctor come with 10 students violating your privacy. Summary: It's really not bad. Ill recommend 👍

Dr Nahmias nissin he's an excellent surgical Dr he did a good job on my hernia repair he really care he will take good care of u i recommend him if you need your body take care of with weight and sbh hospital yes small but if you get the right ppl they will do u right better than Bronx care

The 3floor was fast i was in and hot for my pre surgery test and the workers excellent and the nurse 4got her name but she got my blood very fast and. Nurses always have a hard time but not her.😁

Saint Barnabas Hospital has one of the greenly environments in New York City, this hospital is located in the Bronx. The only problem i encountered was a lady at the information desk was rude, she didn’t want to answer my question, but intended want me to answer her question. I guess she was having a bad day, so i can’t give this Hospital a 5-star since her first attitude to a customer is indelible .
