Dr. Garfein was the plastics specialist who did my husband's reconstruction after his cancer related maxillectomy. He is an OUTSTANDING doctor. Right away, he put us at ease, answered all of our questions, and really made sure we understood what the entire op and post op process would involve. He came to see Bob personally to monitor his recovery every single day, for 17 days straight in the ICU. He is nothing short of amazing-- his dedication to his patients is obvious, and his surgical skills are exemplary. I would recommend him to anyone in a heart beat.

Dr. Garfein and his staff are top notch. They are professional, and warm. The office and operating room are immaculate. I was extremely nervous before surgery but, completely put at ease after talking to the doctor, Ana, his PA. I would recommend Dr. Garfein services to everyone.

He did my breast reduction about two years ago. I am completely happy and if I get any further surgery he will be my first choice. I feel amazingly and my scars are the best I've seen yet

Dr. Garfein has an old fashioned type of approach to seeing his patients. He gives you 100% of his attention and will give you his complete focus when discussing each and every medical concern you may have -- as if the clock stopped and there are no other patients waiting to see him in his office. The focus is solely on you; he does not multi-task and talk to you while also filling out forms. He is on-time, thorough, patient, has a good sense of humor, and cares that you receive the best medical care. The medical staff who assist him were also very professional, friendly, and apparently taking their cues from the top.
