James Kirszrot does not have an adequate amount of comments to generate the sentiment analysis.
We were recommended to Dr. Kirszrot by our pediatric ophthalmologist for a plastics procedure for my young son. He is busy, which seems the case with all doctors, but was not difficult to schedule an appointment. As routine of a procedure it was for him to perform and a new one for us, we felt like we were in excellent hands, the surgical center we used was extremely friendly and his assistant who took care of all our needs was amazing. We are very pleased with the outcome.
My experience with this doctor at his Rockland Eye office was horrible. I came to his office in upstate NY driving there for 2 hours since he was in my insurance network to consult if I was qualified for blepharoplasty surgery since my upper eye lids dropped down. First I waited for 30 min, they checked my vision and eye pressure. It wasn't necessary I didn't come over with any complaints but I understand that they have to bill insurance for something. Then they asked me to wait a little to see a doctor. This little waiting time was 1 hour. They didn't call me until I asked how much longer I have to wait and I had to be back in Brooklyn to pick up my daughter from school. Then the doctor called me. He said that in my case this type of surgery would be considered as cosmetic and it was not covered by the insurance. I said OK, I will think about $5-$6K surgery and let him know if I decide to do it. Doctor said 'Let me take a picture' and he took a picture of my face (eyes). He left next appointment date open in case if I ever decide to come back. I saw Dr. Kirszrot literally for 5 minutes. After I was done medical stuff demanded from me $65 for the picture Dr. Kirszrot took. I argued why he would take a picture? Medical stuff was arguing that there are services that are not covered by the insurance. He purposely took picture to get extra $65 from me even in case if I never come back? I understand if I was planning to do this surgery. But I only came to see if it could be covered by the insurance. I had papers in my hands and I didn't pay for scammed absolutely unnecessary services. If they will send me a bill I will make a VERY BIG DEAL out of it and will go public with that just to make a point how this office tried to scam me! FUTURE PATIENTS BE AWARE!!!

All the information you see here is based on our analysis of internet reviews across the seven major review platforms most used by consumers during their healthcare provider selection. The platforms we selected are Google, WebMD, Yelp, HealthGrades, Facebook, RateMDs, and Vitals. The analysis algorithm uses the compiled data of average score, recency of reviews, number of reviews, and the sentiment expressed in the written comments. It then assigns weight to each parameter based on the available research on how consumers use reviews in their doctor selection process. This report is designed to help identify the doctors with the best overall review score in an area and does not reflect the doctors' competence.
