List of Nathan M. Radcliffe's Reviews
Dr. Radcliffe is an expert in his field, and incredibly available. He took considerable time and attention throughout my numerous appointments with him, and returned my calls and inquiries in real time.
Dr Radcliffe is an extraordinary eye doctor. he works one day a week serving Manhattan patients and four days a week in a Bronx clinic. He gave up being in NYU LANGONE hospital so that he could serve the under-served people of the Bronx four days a week. he is a concerned dedicated doctor and is generous of spirit to his patients. It is obvious that medicine and aiding patients is more important than wealth, WOW A genuine human being. I suggested to him that he is a NGO for the Bronx; helping those that need help the most. And he lectures and publishes, which benefits the profession but has the side benefit of keeping Dr Radcliffe current on the new and present practices and issues. pw
Dr. Radcliffe is an amazing doctor. If I had a friend or relative with Glaucoma as I do, I would immediately send them to Dr. Radcliffe. It is rare to find a doctor with his skill, care and patience. This is coming from someone who has seen many Glaucoma doctors. He has brought my 30+ pressure levels under full control. I fully trust his decisions regarding the health of my eyes. He is experienced with all forms of surgery so will recommend the best options for you. I can't recommend him more.
As a New Yorker, I have the best doctors available to me. I was seeing a very prestigious medical group who were unable to control my glaucoma. They referred me to Dr. Radcliffe, and he was able to bring my glaucoma under control.
I been coming to Dr.Radcliffe for 10 years give or take. Back when He was at Cornell Presbyterian When He left Cornell to start at Nyu I transferred as well. I didn't want someone else. I was comfortable with Dr.Radcliffe he loves what he does he explains to you were you can understand everything he doing during the visit. He walks you threw treatments. I came to him my diagnosis was Glaucoma, Now with the help from him & treatment I no longer have it. Thanks MY OPHTHALMOLOGIST IS BETTER ??
Dr Radcliffe conquered my glaucoma. He is a dedicated professional. After working with another doctor, whose well-known but his office is a factory, dr Radcliffe was recommended to me by my cardiologist. He takes time with his patients, ensuring you receive the examination and treatment that will be most effective. I went from a once a month patient (because of the severity of my issue) to twice a year.
Poor because the waiting time in New York Eye was long. My appt was at 10:15 and I saw him at 2:30 for 5 min. He entered the exam room talked to the nurse and did not even care to talk to me. I asked him a question and he said the nurse will explain it to you (and he diagnosed me with Cataract and he did not bother to explain anything to me) I went to see a doctor not a nurse. And 4 hours wait for 5 minutes with the doctor is ridiculously.
I was referred to Dr. Radcliff by my corneal surgeon. Had a shunt procedure with Doctor Nathan which lowered my intraocular pressure. The staff at the Bronx location is very friendly and accomadting.
Allstar doc that saved my vision by halting glaucoma from advancing with a complex shunt procedure which he performed with ease as I felt no pain. This was at his location.
Dr. Radcliffe is a superb diagnostician and surgeon. My mom, now 86, has been his patient for 8+ years. We followed him from Weill Cornell to his new practice at NYU in midtown Manhattan. Dr. Radcliffe has monitored my mom for glaucoma, and recently removed cataracts from each eye. Surgery was smooth & fast & painless, and recovery was quick. He's friendly and answers all .... Alas, waiting time at NYU is always 1+ hours! VERY short-staffed support & office crew, feels disorganized.

Selection Criteria
All the information you see here is based on our analysis of internet reviews across the seven major review platforms most used by consumers during their healthcare provider selection. The platforms we selected are Google, WebMD, Yelp, HealthGrades, Facebook, RateMDs, and Vitals. The analysis algorithm uses the compiled data of average score, recency of reviews, number of reviews, and the sentiment expressed in the written comments. It then assigns weight to each parameter based on the available research on how consumers use reviews in their doctor selection process. This report is designed to help identify the doctors with the best overall review score in an area and does not reflect the doctors' competence.
