Knowledgeable, experience and Compassionate

She is a very attentive, compassionate and caring doctor. Her staff is very nice and courteous too. It was not difficult to schedule an appointment at the times I was available. Doctor Shapiro is very well respected amongst her peers too and she keeps up to date with recent trends in her field.

If I could give her a zero I would. She had a horrible attitude from the minute she walked into the exam room. She was rude, aggressive, cold and did not have one ounce of compassion. Her bedside manner is terrible. She needs to realize patients are scared when they walk into her office and she should be more professional when expressing herself. Her bedside manner is terrible. She needs to realize patients are scared when they walk into her office and she should be more professional when expressing herself. I found her to be very unprofessional. Just a horrible experience. She wanted to see me again in a month. That will not happen. Office was dirty too and in the exam room there appeared to be dried blood on the floor by the exam table. I called the office and let her staff know I would not be back and why. I was really shocked at her behavior or I would have told her all this in person. She acted like I was putting her out for even being there in the first place. Her staff, however were very professional. More so than the dear Dr. herself. Oh and the brilliant diagnosis she came up with for the open wound on my breast was, "It's just a piece of missing skin." And she drew me a picture of it on paper as if I didn't know what it looked like. Condescending and extremely nutty. I in fact have a very bad infection. Thank God for my primary care physician who actually took a culture and prescribed antibiotics for me along with an antibiotic cream. Dismissive and dangerous because of her dismissive behavior. I don't know who the woman on all her videos is. But that was not the woman with the supposedly professional demeanor that attended to me. She was totally off! Even if I had something serious, which thankfully I do not, I would not let her touch me again ever!
