Only 1 star because 0 isn’t an option. My boyfriend went to this “doctor” for skin cancer on his face. He failed to get it the first time. The second time, cut off half his ear lobe even though there was no skin cancer there, without prior discussions or consent. Kept stitches in for three weeks, which scarred. Has he not heard of dissolvable?! Exactly, wants patients to keep coming in to collect all the copays he can. Insane wait times and no apologies. Refused to try to fix earlobe. Do yourself a favor and find a plastic surgeon and stay away from this amateur hour butcher shop.

TERRIBLE first visit with Dr Fried. My appointment was for 10:30 and I wasn't sent into the exam room until 12 noon. Another patient waiting got up and asked to reschedule because he he couldn't wait any longer. Waiting room was very small and packed with patients. Dr Fried said he saw something "suspicious" on my back that needed to be sampled and sent out to lab for testing. I asked if he could do it while I was there since it seemed like a very simple thing to do, and he insisted that I make another appointment for 3 weeks out to come back. It made no sense to me. While booking my next appointment, I asked the receptionist if the wait is always this long and she responded "yes, it is". Exam room was very old looking. A rusty scale sat in the corner and a big part of the radiator cover was missing. I'm never going back there and canceled my next appointment. There are MANY dermatologist in Westchester, so I booked with another doctor. The only pleasant part of my visit was the receptionist Susan. She's very nice.

Although I have been using this office for some time, this was my first experience with Dr. Fried. I found him to be knowledgeable and thorough during my visit, and his cordial yet professional demeanor helped put me at ease. He took the time to listen to all my concerns and addressed each one in a very professional manner. I will definitely seek out his services again in the future and I would recommend him to anyone needing dermatology services.

Went to his Yonkers' office, only to be told he was running 30-45 late and that I could reschedule. Rescheduled for morning appointment (10AM) at his Mamaroneck office. I arrived (9:45) into a waiting room of 12 people. At 10:20 I was told that the doctor was still not there. When I mentioned that this lateness was disrespectful to his patients I was told, "You should say that to him!" I left, and will find another doctor.

I had appointment at 11 and was waiting for 2 hours and I did not get to see a doctor since I must go home. I lost my time. Staff is not polite, when I asked for my insurance card they did not say sorry. Very dirty and uncomfortable place. Do not recommend it.

Was not worth my time. I saw PA because doc wasn't in. She seemed more interested in selling me products and procedures not covered by insurance. Left there like I did going in........no help whatsoever.

I have been doctor Fried's patient for a few years now, he treats my psoriasis. He is competent and knows what he is talking about. He is fast passed and does not waste your time. He is a good man with a kind heart.His office manager Susan is very nice and caring as well. His office is busy with patients waiting to be seen. there is plenty of parking in front of his building as well.

First time trying to see a dermatologist in White Plains and let me tell you I will NEVER be going backAppointment was scheduled for 5:30 and i got there a couple minutes late --had a hard time getting away from work. I arrive and they tell me to put my name down, having me fill out a bunch of forms. So I'm waiting and waiting. Go up to ask them whats happening because my appointment was at 5:30 and its a half hour past, and I was hoping to get out of there before six. I'm told no way was I going to be seen at 5:30, will probably need to wait another half hour. Am incredibly frustrated. Wait for ANOTHER 45 minutes. I realize all the ten people in the waiting room were scheduled for appointments before me, so they'll all need to be seen first. I go up to ask for another update, and ask why I wasn't able to be seen at my actual appointment time, and I was told that because I used an app to schedule my appointment (Zocdoc) my appointment time wasn't going to be accurate because I didn't call in. To which my first thought was: if using this app is so problematic for the office and for patients, DONT LET ME MAKE AN APPOINTMENT ON THE APP IN THE FIRST PLACEAnd the irony is one of the forms I had to fill out stated I needed to cancel 24 hours in advance because, I quote, "we respect your time...your appointment is a time set aside for you and your care" or something like that. The visit with the doctor himself was fine. I waited 1.5 hours for a ten minute appointment in which nothing of significance really happened. It was the most infuriating, exhausting thing to do after a full day of work.

I waited an hour. I asked for a skin cancer check. He looked at my shoulders and said I was fine. He didn’t even look at my back much less the rest of me.

If I could give Dr. Fried a 0 stars I would. This is the worst dermatologist I have ever been to. Dr. Fried prescribed me medications that he believed would help me with my acne and it did not help at all. He then told me to have a laser treatment done at his Yonkers location, which I then considered because he guaranteed me that my face will look much better after 1 treatment. As a unemployed college student he told me it will only cost $200 with a discount. My face ended up looking worse. I went back and he told me to get one more treatment done and promised me that I will see results. I ended up paying $200 again for the second treatment and my acne still ended up not getting better at all. A HUGE SCAM. PLEASE avoid seeing Dr. Fried. There are plenty other professional dermatologist to choose from.
